# Manifestos Hub
Folder index for `Works/Manifestos/` — 10 pages. **For the genre analysis the canonical hub is [[Manifestos and Founding Documents Hub]]**; this page exists so the folder has an index at `/Works/` level like every other medium.

- [[Contract with America]] (1994) — the Gingrich platform
- [[Port Huron Statement]] (1962) — the New Left founding document
- [[Against the Dead Consensus]] (2019) — the post-liberal right's break statement
- [[NSDAP 25-Point Program]] (1920) — the Nazi Party platform
- [[The Doctrine of Fascism]] (1932) — Mussolini and Gentile
## Terrorist and white-supremacist manifestos
- [[2083 A European Declaration of Independence]] — Breivik, 2011
- [[The Great Replacement (Tarrant Manifesto)]] — Christchurch, 2019
- [[Industrial Society and Its Future]] — Kaczynski, 1995
## Declarations of racial order
- [[The Southern Manifesto]] (1956) — Congressional resistance to *Brown*
- [[White Declaration of Independence]] (1898) — the Wilmington coup document
## Why they are filed together
The genre is the point: a manifesto claims founding authority for a program that has none yet. Reading the terrorist manifestos beside the party platforms exposes the shared move — **each narrates a besieged people, an illegitimate present order, and a duty to act** — and the only difference is what "act" is taken to license.
