# Terry Cole **Status: stub — expand.** **Terrance C. "Terry" Cole** is the Senate-confirmed **Administrator of the [[DEA]]**, sworn in July 23, 2025. He spent more than two decades as a DEA special agent — postings in Oklahoma, New York, Dallas, the Special Operations Division, Colombia, and Afghanistan — before serving as Virginia's Secretary of Public Safety and Homeland Security under Gov. Glenn Youngkin.
