Gleason** is a United States district judge for the **District of Alaska**, appointed by President Barack Obama and on the court since 2012. Before her federal appointment she served on the Alaska Superior Court in Anchorage. Much of her docket has run through Alaska resource and public-lands litigation, including rulings on offshore drilling in the Chukchi Sea and on permits for the Willow project — which she has ruled both for and against, in different administrations. She is the judge assigned to [[United States v.
