**Scott Singer** is a Republican attorney and the former mayor of Boca Raton, Florida, who is running in 2026 for Florida's newly drawn 25th Congressional District against Democratic Rep. [[Jared Moskowitz]]. The race is covered at [[FL-25-2026]].
Singer graduated cum laude from Harvard with a degree in government and earned his law degree at Georgetown. He has practiced as a business attorney for more than two decades. He was elected to the Boca Raton City Council in 2014 and became mayor in 2018, winning re-election twice before term limits ended his tenure in 2026. He is a fellow at the [[America First Policy Institute]].
Singer announced his run for Congress in December 2025, initially against Moskowitz in the old 23rd District, before the state's new map redrew the seats. He won a five-way Republican primary on August 18, 2026, with about 31 percent of the vote. [[Donald Trump]] endorsed him on September 1, calling him an "America First Patriot," and the [[Republican Jewish Coalition]] has also endorsed him. Singer is Jewish, and the race has centered heavily on Israel and antisemitism. He has campaigned on his record of cutting Boca Raton's tax rate and on border security, and has attacked Moskowitz over his stock trades.
