# Rob Goldstone **Rob Goldstone** (born December 3, 1960, Whitefield, Greater Manchester) is the British music publicist whose June 3, 2016 email to [[Donald Trump Jr.]] set up the [[Trump Tower Meeting June 2016]] — the plainest documentary evidence of the Trump campaign's willingness to accept Russian government help. ## The Agalarovs Goldstone founded Oui 2 Entertainment in 1987 and represented pop singer [[Emin Agalarov]]. His firm helped bring the 2013 Miss Universe pageant to Moscow, hosted by Emin's father [[Aras Agalarov]] at [[Crocus Group]]'s venue. ## The email On June 3, 2016, Goldstone wrote to Trump Jr. that "the Crown prosecutor of Russia" — the Prosecutor General, then [[Yury Chaika]] — had met Aras Agalarov and "offered to provide the Trump campaign with some official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary." Trump Jr. replied: "if it's what you say I love it especially later in the summer." ## The meeting On June 9, 2016, Goldstone attended the Trump Tower meeting with Trump Jr., [[Jared Kushner]], [[Paul Manafort]], [[Natalia Veselnitskaya]], [[Rinat Akhmetshin]], Agalarov associate Ike Kaveladze, and a translator. He was interviewed by the House Intelligence Committee on December 18, 2017, and published a memoir, *Pop Stars, Pageants & Presidents*, in 2018. ## RWKB angle Goldstone's email is the document that turns "collusion" from inference into stated intent on the campaign's side, even though the meeting itself produced little. ## See Also - [[Trump Tower Meeting June 2016]] - [[Emin Agalarov]]
