[[Jim Himes]]. He has held leadership posts in the New York County Medical Society, including chair of its board of trustees. ## Campaigns - **2022:** Lost the Republican primary for Connecticut's 4th district to convention nominee Jayme Stevenson. - **2024:** Beat Bob MacGuffie, a former Tea Party leader who had won the party's convention endorsement, in the August primary.
