# Kelly Loeffler
Administrator of the Small Business Administration since 2025 and a cabinet-rank official. A former U.S. Senator from Georgia and financial-industry executive (co-owner of the WNBA's Atlanta Dream), she lost her 2021 runoff before returning to government in the second term.
## Money and marriage
Loeffler is married to Jeffrey Sprecher, founder, chairman and CEO of [[Intercontinental Exchange]], which owns the New York Stock Exchange. She ran ICE's bitcoin-futures venture **Bakkt** before Georgia's governor appointed her to the Senate in January 2020.
The household is one of the larger Trump donor households. FEC Schedule A shows that on **June 25, 2025**, while she was SBA Administrator, Loeffler gave **$2,500,000** to [[MAGA Inc]], listing her employer as "US Government." Sprecher gave $5,000,000 the same day. In the 2024 cycle each gave $824,600 to the Trump 47 Committee, and Loeffler gave at least $1.97 million to MAGA Inc (OpenFEC API, pulled 2026-10-03; contributions of $100,000 or more).
Her husband's company is the largest outside investor in [[Polymarket]], about $1.6 billion since October 2025. Polymarket is advised by [[Donald Trump Jr.]] and is fighting state gambling regulators with the backing of a CFTC run by a Trump appointee.
