# Justin Murphy **Justin Murphy** is the 2026 Republican nominee for U.S. Senate in New Jersey against [[Cory Booker]]. An attorney in solo practice since 2006 and a U.S. Navy veteran from Tabernacle Township, Burlington County, he served on the township committee and as deputy mayor; he finished third in the 2024 Republican Senate primary at 11.3%. He won the June 2, 2026 primary with 33.3% in a four-way field — 4.1 points and 9,801 votes over state trooper Richard Tabor, with the pre-primary favorite Alex Zdan third. His platform runs on tax cuts, border security and a "windmill-free" Jersey Shore; he is endorsed by state Sen. Mike Testa.
