## KB significance: paid political content pipeline
Kraus is a documented node in the undisclosed paid-political-influencer ecosystem. In March 2026, she was paid to amplify a post by Sen. [[Tim Sheehy]] (R-MT) attacking a New York Times journalist who had asked Sheehy about billionaire donations to his campaign. Multiple pro-Trump accounts amplified Sheehy's post simultaneously — Kraus was the only one to include X's #PaidPartnership disclosure tag.
Within hours, Kraus received a text message instructing her to delete the post. She complied.
In a subsequent NYT interview, Kraus said she "often worked with social media marketing firms" and received "multiple offers to make paid content every week." Her description of the process: "You get talking points you can seamlessly weave into your own content."
Kraus declined to identify who paid her for the Sheehy amplification, and in a follow-up conversation said she could not remember who had originally approached her, who texted asking her to take the post down, or how much she had been paid. A Sheehy spokesman denied the senator or his campaign had paid for the posts.
