# Jeremy Levine
**Jeremy Levine** is the founder and CEO of [[Underdog Fantasy]]. He is a serial fantasy-sports founder whose companies have been bought by both of the big sportsbooks he now competes with.
## Career
| Years | Company | Outcome |
|---|---|---|
| 2009–2014 | **StarStreet**, a "sports stock market" he started in college that became an early daily-fantasy site | Sold to [[DraftKings]] (2014) |
| 2014–2017 | **Draft**, a simplified paid fantasy-draft game | Sold to Flutter Entertainment (2017) and later folded into [[FanDuel]] |
| 2020– | **Underdog**, launched when Draft's best-ball game was being shut down | Valued at about $1.2–1.3 billion by 2025–26 |
In 2016 he worked through the fantasy-sports trade association's regulatory committee for the New York law defining fantasy contests as legal games of skill. He also launched GuardDog, which invests in responsible-gaming technology.
## Into prediction markets
Levine moved Underdog into event contracts in September 2025 with [[Crypto.com]]: "The future of prediction markets is going to be about sports — and no one does sports better than Underdog." Underdog co-founded the [[Coalition for Prediction Markets]] that December. In March 2026 he bought a CFTC-registered exchange and clearinghouse from PredictIt's operator, Aristotle, so Underdog could "take its markets to bettors without partners." His career has crossed every line the regulators are now arguing about: fantasy, sports betting and derivatives.
