# Jeremy Boreing **Jeremy Boreing** is the co-founder of [[The Daily Wire]], which he launched in 2015 with [[Ben Shapiro]] out of their earlier TruthRevolt project. He is the executive who built it from a social-media publisher into a streaming, e-commerce and film operation. A former Hollywood producer and screenwriter from Texas, he ran the Daily Wire's entertainment ambition: *What Is a Woman?* (2022), which he executive-produced; *Lady Ballers* (2023), which he directed and starred in; *Am I Racist?* (2024); the children's app Bentkey; and the unfinished *Pendragon* series. ## The Owens firing As CEO he presided over the Daily Wire's March 22, 2024 split with [[Candace Owens]] after her antisemitic statements. The break was the opening episode of the right's long intra-movement fight over Israel and antisemitism. ## The exit - **March 2025.** He stepped down as co-CEO, officially to focus on creative work. It came in the middle of the company's cash crunch: about a quarter of staff laid off, Bentkey shut down, and a *Pendragon* production overrun reported near $100 million (see [[The Daily Wire]]). - **Leaving entirely.** By 2026 he had negotiated an end to his partnership. He said "our priorities weren't as aligned as they had been" and called the separation "the biggest blow I've ever gone through in my life … It's not what I wanted." - **March 24, 2026.** He launched *The Jeremy Boreing Show* as an independent podcast. - **June 2026.** The company he left was reported to be seeking at least $100 million at a ~$750 million valuation (see [[Daily Wire $100M Strategic Raise]]). ## Why he matters Boreing was the right's most serious attempt at building a parallel Hollywood: films, children's content and prestige series financed by fracking money and subscriptions. His exit marks where that bet broke. What survives at the Daily Wire is the part that always paid, the podcasts. ## Related - [[The Daily Wire]] · [[Ben Shapiro]] · [[Matt Walsh]] · [[Candace Owens]] - [[Daily Wire $100M Strategic Raise]] · [[Right-Wing Media Timeline]] · [[Media Ecosystem]]
