# Ilene Sackler Lefcourt **Ilene Sackler Lefcourt** (born 1946 or 1948; sources differ) is the daughter of [[Mortimer Sackler]] (Sr.) by his first wife, Muriel Lazarus, and a sister of [[Kathe Sackler]]. She served on the [[Purdue Pharma]] board through the [[OxyContin]] era. She is one of the eight board-member heirs (Side A, Mortimer's family) in the 2025 $7.4B settlement. Outside Purdue, Ilene founded and directs the Sackler Lefcourt Center for Child Development, a New York–based parent-infant clinical and research program — a footprint largely separate from the broader Sackler philanthropy. ## See Also - [[Sackler Family]] — the dynasty - [[Mortimer Sackler]] — father - [[Kathe Sackler]] — sister - [[Purdue Pharma]] — the company
