# Gottfried Feder
Early Nazi economic theorist and principal author of the [[NSDAP 25-Point Program]] (1920). Feder's signature doctrine was the distinction between "productive" industrial capital and "predatory" finance/loan capital ("die Brechung der Zinsknechtschaft" — "breaking the bondage of interest"), an economic [[Antisemitism]] that gave the party's left-sounding anticapitalism its racial target. It was a Feder lecture that first drew [[Adolf Hitler]] to the movement. Feder was sidelined as Hitler courted industrialists, holding only a brief, frustrated post after 1933.
