# Jacob Helberg Dossier Front door for the [[Jacob Helberg]] document collection — the personal super-watch dossier. The canonical biography stays at [[Jacob Helberg]] in `/People/`; this folder (`/People/Docs/Jacob Helberg/`) holds the deeper, structured material that would otherwise bury it. **Boundary rule:** person-specific reference material (giving/finance, ideology maps, network rosters, holdings tables, beat calendars) lives in this folder. Cross-cutting records keep their canonical homes and are **linked** — his flagship framework in [[Pax Silica]], the convening body in [[Hill and Valley Forum]], his old employer [[Palantir]], rolling news in [[Jacob Helberg News Log]]. One fact, one home. > Helberg is a **sitting government official** (Under Secretary of State for Economic Affairs), so the money page reads as a finance/investment picture more than a donor ledger. His defining lever is *tech statecraft*, not campaign checks. ## The four core files - [[Jacob Helberg Political Donations]] — official-era finance picture + angel-investing footprint - [[Jacob Helberg Ideology]] — the "Wires of War" tech–Cold-War doctrine and Pax Silica - [[Jacob Helberg Inner Circle]] — the tight core (Karp/Thiel orbit, Rubio, Hill & Valley) - [[Jacob Helberg First Degree Connections]] — the full directly-connected map, annotated by tie type ## Holdings & monitoring - [[Jacob Helberg Holdings]] — the angel portfolio and Palantir-era wealth - [[Jacob Helberg Timeline]] — biographical chronology (look-back spine) - [[Jacob Helberg Quotes]] — curated index of sourced receipts - [[Jacob Helberg Calendar]] — known + predicted upcoming beats (look-ahead) - [[Jacob Helberg Events]] — index of discrete Helberg-touching events; links to `/Events/` + gaps to fill ## Related records elsewhere (linked, not duplicated) - Canonical bio → [[Jacob Helberg]] - News feed → [[Jacob Helberg News Log]] - Flagship policy → [[Pax Silica]] · [[Tech Decoupling]] - Convening body → [[Hill and Valley Forum]] - Old employer / patron → [[Palantir]] · [[Alex Karp]] · [[Peter Thiel]] - The book → [[The Wires of War]] ## Boundary with the canonical page The [[Jacob Helberg]] canonical page is currently a stub; this dossier is the deeper layer. As the canonical page is fleshed out, keep the narrative there and the structured index (rosters, finance, ideology map) here. ## See Also - [[Jacob Helberg]] — canonical biography - [[People Hub]] - [[Eric Schmidt Dossier]] — sibling tech-statecraft dossier - [[Alex Karp Dossier]] · [[Peter Thiel Dossier]]
