# JD Vance Dossier Front door for the [[JD Vance]] document collection — the personal super-watch dossier. The canonical biography stays at [[JD Vance]] in `/People/`; this folder (`/People/Docs/JD Vance/`) holds the deeper, structured material that would otherwise bury it. **Boundary rule:** person-specific reference material (campaign-finance ledgers, ideology maps, network rosters, holdings tables, beat calendars) lives in this folder. Cross-cutting records keep their canonical homes and are **linked** — the patronage machine in [[Thiel Network]], conflicts in [[Defense Tech Conflicts of Interest]], his fund [[Narya Capital]], the donor coalition [[Rockbridge Network]]. One fact, one home. > **Note on the money page:** Vance is primarily a *recipient* of patronage, not a major donor. His money page is therefore [[JD Vance Campaign Finance]] — the money *behind* him plus his own modest giving — rather than a "Political Donations" ledger. ## The four core files - [[JD Vance Campaign Finance]] — who funded him (Thiel's $15M, super PACs, [[Rockbridge Network]]) + his own giving - [[JD Vance Ideology]] — the three-current synthesis (NRx, Catholic post-liberalism, tech-populism) - [[JD Vance Inner Circle]] — the tight, trusted core (Thiel, Sacks, the New Right bench) - [[JD Vance First Degree Connections]] — the full directly-connected map, annotated by tie type ## Holdings & monitoring - [[JD Vance Holdings]] — Narya Capital, prior VC positions, financial-disclosure picture - [[JD Vance Timeline]] — biographical chronology (the Thiel-pipeline spine) - [[JD Vance Quotes]] — curated index of sourced receipts - [[JD Vance Calendar]] — known + predicted upcoming beats (look-ahead) - [[JD Vance Events]] — index of discrete Vance-touching events; links to `/Events/` + gaps to fill ## Related records elsewhere (linked, not duplicated) - Canonical bio → [[JD Vance]] - News feed → [[JD Vance News Log]] (look-back; rolling updates) - The pipeline that made him → [[Peter Thiel]] · [[Peter Thiel Dossier]] · [[Thiel Network]] - Fund / donor infra → [[Narya Capital]] · [[Rockbridge Network]] - Ideology homes → [[Dark Enlightenment]] · [[Catholic Post-Liberalism]] - Office actions → [[Task Force to Eliminate Fraud]] · [[Democratic AGs Boycott Fraud Roundtable]] ## Boundary with the canonical page The [[JD Vance]] page remains the narrative profile — the eight-stage Thiel pipeline, the ideological formation, the office record. This dossier is the **structured index layer**: the money-behind-him ledger, the network rosters, the holdings picture. ## See Also - [[JD Vance]] — canonical biography - [[People Hub]] - [[Peter Thiel Dossier]] · [[David Sacks Dossier]] — sibling personal dossiers
