# Dane Wigington Founder and lead voice of **GeoengineeringWatch.org**, the internet's most persistent and trafficked [[Chemtrails]] hub. A former solar-energy worker based in Shasta County, California, Wigington has spent two decades producing videos, "documentaries" (most prominently *The Dimming*, 2021), and weekly broadcasts claiming that covert global geoengineering programs are poisoning the atmosphere and manipulating weather. He is a recurring guest in the [[Alex Jones]] / [[InfoWars]] ecosystem and his content forms much of the evidentiary substrate cited when weather-control claims spike — including the wave that followed [[Hurricane Helene]] and [[Hurricane Milton]] in 2024, when [[Marjorie Taylor Greene]] mainstreamed the weather-modification narrative Wigington had spent years incubating. *Stub — expand with: biography and solar-industry background claims, The Dimming distribution numbers, role in Shasta County local-politics chemtrails activism, scientific rebuttals (contrail science, SRM research distinction).*
