She learned of it from a post on X, confirmed by [[Sergio Gor]]. She was the first woman to hold the post as a Senate-confirmed Archivist. Her removal opened the eighteen-month gap at the head of the [[National Archives]] that ran through Deputy Archivist William Bosanko, then Secretary of State [[Marco Rubio]] as acting Archivist, then an outright vacancy, and ended only with [[Bradford P.
