# Christopher Koob **Christopher Koob** is a federal political-committee treasurer. He is not a donor, a candidate or a strategist; he is the person who signs the paperwork — and he signs a great deal of it. **At least ten committees active in the 2026 midterm elections name him as treasurer of record**, and several of them exist chiefly to move one large sum from one place to another. The treasurer of record is a legal office: the person responsible for a committee's filings and for the accuracy of what it reports. In practice the role is often held by a compliance professional who serves many committees at once, which is entirely lawful and completely ordinary. It is also the most useful single field on a registration form for anyone trying to work out which committees belong to the same operation, because the money, the donors and the vendors can all be different while the treasurer stays the same. ## Why he's on the map Three things make this name worth a page rather than a footnote. **He is the common field across a mailbox.** Five committees recorded here file from **PO Box 15845, Washington DC 20003**, and four of them name him. See [[PO Box 15845 DC Three Committee Cluster October 2026]]. **Several of the committees he signs are single-purpose money conduits.** [[United Futures PAC]] moved **$6,250,000.00** to [[People Over Politics Action Fund]] — and he signs both ends of that transfer. [[The Bench]] took **$3,500,000.00** from one donor. These are committees whose entire disclosed activity is a handful of transactions. **He signs the largest single advertiser in this record.** [[Government That Works PAC]] has reported roughly **$31 million** of its own Senate advertising and **$10.75 million** of transfers to three other committees. He is its treasurer. ## The committees | Committee | FEC ID | |---|---| | [[Government That Works PAC]] | C00915595 | | [[United Futures PAC]] | C00960385 | | [[Bold America]] | C00854299 | | [[The Bench]] | C00845271 | | [[The Edge Action Fund]] | C00951723 | | [[Back the Bold]] | C00771113 | | [[America Together PAC]] | C00961961 | | [[Gem State Future PAC]] | C00961987 | | [[Great Plains Voices PAC]] | C00961995 | | [[People Over Politics Action Fund]] | C00953299 | Each entry above is drawn from that committee's own filings; the page for each committee carries the document number the treasurer's name was read from. > [!note] A similar name that is a different name > **Kris Koob** appears as treasurer of record for [[Texas Forever]] and is a separate person as far as > this site's sources go. Nothing here establishes any relationship between the two, and the similarity > of the names is not evidence of one. ## What is not established Whose operation this is. A shared treasurer shows that committees use the same compliance service; it does not show common control, common funding or a common political purpose, and treating it as proof of any of those would be a mistake. Everything on this page is a name in a field on a public form. No employer, firm, address of his own, or biography has been established here. ## What to watch - **An eleventh committee naming him as treasurer**, which would extend a pattern already well past the point of coincidence. - **The firm or compliance service he works through.** A registration form gives a name and a mailbox, not an employer, and the employer is the thing that would explain the cluster. - **The post-election reports** of the conduit committees he signs, which are the documents that name donors. ## See also - [[Government That Works PAC]] · [[Debra Schommer Media Group]] - [[PO Box 15845 DC Three Committee Cluster October 2026]] - [[United Futures PAC]] · [[The Bench]] · [[Bold America]] · [[The Edge Action Fund]] · [[Back the Bold]] - [[America Together PAC]] · [[Gem State Future PAC]] · [[Great Plains Voices PAC]] · [[People Over Politics Action Fund]] - [[Super PACs]] · [[Dark Money]] · [[Donor Network Hub]]
