# Charles Wall **Charles Wall** is the deputy director of [[ICE]]. Then-Secretary [[Kristi Noem]] named him to the post in January 2026 after Madison Sheahan resigned. He is a New Orleans native and a graduate of Tulane Law School. In ICE's own records, Wall appears on a July 22, 2026 thread about New Jersey residents who were registered to vote by a state software error. After the agency's lawyers concluded those who voted were deportable regardless of what they knew, Wall wrote: "HSI is heavily working these cases."
