Charles R. Kesler (born 1955) is an American political scientist, professor at Claremont McKenna College, and editor of the Claremont Review of Books. A student of [[Leo Strauss]]'s intellectual lineage through Harry Jaffa, Kesler has been a central figure at the [[Claremont Institute]] and a key theorist of what he calls "the crisis of the two constitutions" — the conflict between the original constitutional order and the progressive administrative state. His intellectual framework has informed much of the [[National Conservatism]] movement's constitutional theory.
