# Blake Gendebien
**Blake Gendebien** is a dairy farmer and the **Democratic nominee in [[NY-21-2026]]**. He won the June
2026 Democratic primary with **65%** over Stuart Amoriell.
Despite NY-21 being a heavily Republican Northern New York district — over 215,000 registered
Republicans against roughly 133,700 Democrats — public polling through the autumn showed him level with
or narrowly ahead of [[Anthony Constantino]], including a Times Union/Siena poll putting him up
**46% to 42%**. Governor Kathy Hochul has said Democrats see a path to retaking the seat.
