# World National-Conservative Movement
The **World National-Conservative Movement (WNCM)** was a 2015 attempt, driven by the St. Petersburg branch of Russia's [[Rodina (political party)]] and the [[Russian Imperial Movement]], to organize European and American far-right parties into a Russia-centered international.
## The St. Petersburg forum
On March 22, 2015 Rodina's St. Petersburg branch hosted an International Russian Conservative Forum attended by more than 30 far-right figures from seven EU countries, including Udo Voigt of Germany's NPD, Roberto Fiore of Italy's Forza Nuova, former BNP leader Nick Griffin, and representatives connected to Greece's [[Golden Dawn]]. France's National Front did not attend. "The American way of life is not the center of our politics, nor are gays and lesbians," Voigt said.
## The movement
According to researcher Anton Shekhovtsov, writing in September 2015, the WNCM's organizing committee was chaired by Rodina's Yuriy Lyubomirskiy and invited 58 organizations, among them Golden Dawn, the NPD, Forza Nuova, the BNP and the U.S.-based American Freedom Party. Its manifesto called for a "conservative revolution" against "liberalism, multiculturalism and tolerance," and plans included military-instruction camps and support for separatists in eastern Ukraine *[membership details single-sourced]*. An invitation is not evidence of membership.
## RWKB angle
WNCM is a small but explicit instance of Russian nationalists trying to build a Nationalist International around a shared anti-liberal program — and it links the [[Russian Imperial Movement]], later designated a terrorist entity by the U.S., to Western neo-fascist parties.
