# Warren Commission
**The Warren Commission** (formally the President's Commission on the Assassination of President Kennedy) was created by Lyndon Johnson's Executive Order 11130 on November 29, 1963, and chaired by Chief Justice [[Earl Warren]]. Its other members were Senators Richard Russell and John Sherman Cooper, Representatives Hale Boggs and [[Gerald Ford]], former CIA director Allen Dulles, and John J. McCloy. It delivered an 888-page report on September 24, 1964, followed by 26 volumes of hearings and exhibits. The report concluded that Lee Harvey Oswald "acted entirely alone" and that Jack Ruby also acted alone. Its single-bullet finding and the CIA's withholding of the Castro plots from it became the main targets of later doubt. See [[JFK Assassination]] and [[JFK Assassination Conspiracy]].
