# U.S. Inc **Status: stub.** The funding and incubation umbrella of the [[Tanton Network]], established by [[John Tanton]] in 1982. U.S. Inc served as the financial conduit that channeled donor money — most importantly from heiress [[Cordelia Scaife May]] and later her [[Colcom Foundation]] — into Tanton's constellation of immigration-restriction and language-policy organizations, helping seed and sustain new groups.
