# Trump Administration (disambiguation) [[Donald Trump]] served two **non-contiguous presidential terms**. "Trump Administration" is therefore ambiguous — use one of the specific entries below: - **[[First Trump Administration]]** — January 20, 2017 – January 20, 2021 - **[[Second Trump Administration]]** — January 20, 2025 – present ## KB Convention Prefer the specific wikilink (`[[First Trump Administration]]` or `[[Second Trump Administration]]`) in all new content. Use bare "Trump Administration" only as prose in section headers (e.g., `## Trump Administration Ties`) where era is clear from surrounding context. If you arrived here from an existing `[[Trump Administration]]` link, that link should be updated to the specific era. ## Why Not "Trump Administration 1/2" or Date-Ranged Slugs The KB uses ordinal naming (**First** / **Second**) to match Wikipedia's convention ("First presidency of Donald Trump" / "Second presidency of Donald Trump") and to read naturally in prose. `[[Trump Administration 1]]` / `[[Trump Administration 2]]` was rejected as low-information; `[[Trump Administration (2017-2021)]]` was rejected for awkward wikilink rendering. See the two canonical entries for the full picture.
