# The Social Contract Press
**Status: stub.** [[John Tanton]]'s publishing house, founded in 1990, which produced the quarterly journal *The Social Contract* and reissued the English-language edition of *The Camp of the Saints* — the apocalyptic French novel about immigration that became a touchstone text for the contemporary far right. The Social Contract Press is the [[Tanton Network]]'s ideological-publishing node, laundering explicit replacement themes (see [[Great Replacement Theory]]) into movement discourse. Designated a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center.
