# Stronger Maine
**Stronger Maine** (FEC committee **C00922294**) is an independent-expenditure committee registered at
**1305 W 11th St #217, Houston, Texas 77008**, treasurer **Les Williamson**, spending on both sides of
[[ME-Sen-2026]].
## Disclosed spending
| Filing | Received | Expenditure date | Amount | Direction | Vendor |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Form 24, file **2016711** | 2026-10-04 | 2026-10-02 | **$104,085.00** | $52,042.50 support [[Susan Collins]] / $52,042.50 oppose [[Troy Jackson]] | Wildcatter Strategies |
The split is exact to the cent, which is the signature of one buy allocated across both sides of a race.
## Why it is on file here
It is the **third** committee wearing Maine's name in this race, and the only one that does not claim a
Maine address at all — it files from a Houston mailbox and buys through a vendor named Wildcatter
Strategies. The other two are [[The Maine Standard]] (Bangor; treasurer [[Trevor Kowalski]], who also
signs [[Cornhusker Majority]] in Nebraska) and [[Lead Maine Committee]] (Bangor; signer Nicholas
Stoltzfus, who also signed [[Sentinel Action Fund]]'s notice the same day). See
[[State-Branded Super PAC Template]].
Nothing in the filings establishes coordination or shared funding. The aggregate columns
($1,321,572.50 and $1,373,615.00) are **not** race or committee totals.
## Open questions
- Its first Form 3X — the only document that would name a funder.
- Whether Wildcatter Strategies appears on any other committee.
- Whether the Houston address belongs to a compliance firm and which other committees use it.

## 2026-10-06 — the Houston address is identified
The open question on this page was "whether the Houston address belongs to a compliance firm and which
other committees use it." On e-file receipt date **2026-10-05** it was answered from a filing.
**[[Eighteen Fifty-Four Fund]]** (FEC committee **C00809483**) files from **1305 W 11th St #213, Houston,
TX 77008** — two suites from this committee's **#217** — and carries the **same treasurer,
[[Les Williamson]]**. On that date it was disclosed as the source of **$1,000,000** to a third Williamson
committee, **[[Who Stands For Us]]** (C00958512), on Schedule A line SA11C of file **2017177**.
| Committee | FEC ID | Address | Treasurer |
|---|---|---|---|
| **Stronger Maine** | C00922294 | 1305 W 11th St **#217**, Houston TX | [[Les Williamson]] |
| [[Eighteen Fifty-Four Fund]] | C00809483 | 1305 W 11th St **#213**, Houston TX | [[Les Williamson]] |
| [[Who Stands For Us]] | C00958512 | 4250 N Fairfax Dr PMB 17503942, Arlington VA | [[Les Williamson]] |
So the Houston address is a **compliance operation serving at least two committees**, and the treasurer
serves at least three. The standing caution still applies — a shared treasurer is a vendor relationship,
not a money trail — but this instance is stronger than a shared letterhead, because **a disclosed
transaction runs between two of the committees**. See
[[Eighteen Fifty-Four Fund 1M Who Stands For Us October 2026]].
