# Rapid Resist Action **Rapid Resist Action** appears on this wiki for one reason: it is where a funding chain stops. On **27 August 2026** it gave **$1,600,000.00** to the super PAC [[Building America]], itemised on that committee's third-quarter report (file **2022502**) as a Line 11 contribution. Building America passed $250,000 of it to [[Principled Patriots PAC]], which spent it promoting long-shot candidates and opposing Republicans in nineteen races across thirteen states four days before the 2026 general election. Because it is a nonprofit rather than a political committee, **it does not file with the FEC**, so who funds Rapid Resist Action is not on the federal record. Washington Post reporter Patrick Svitek described it publicly as a Democratic-aligned nonprofit on 31 October 2026. That is the shape of [[Dark Money]]: every step after the nonprofit is documented to the cent, and the step before it is not documented at all. ## What this page still needs Its legal form and tax status, its officers, its own filings with any regulator, and any other committees it has funded. None of that has been established here. ## Connections - [[Building America]] · [[Principled Patriots PAC]] - [[Dark Money]] · [[Super PACs]]
