# Project 218 **Project 218** is a federal political committee, **FEC committee C00871368**. The name is a reference to 218 seats, the bare majority of the US House. **What the filings say.** Its **pre-general report**, FEC Form 3X, file **2039056**, e-file receipt date **2026-10-22**, itemises: | Contributor | Amount | Date | Line | Aggregate on filing | |---|---|---|---|---| | [[Democracy Matters]] | $7,000,000.00 | 2026-10-07 | `SA11AI` | $12,880,000.00 | | [[Government That Works PAC]] | $1,000,000.00 | 2026-10-14 | `SA11AI` | $1,000,000.00 | **What kind of committee it is remains open.** Nothing in the filings read for this page states its committee type, and a committee's type is not something that can be read off its name. > [!note] Stub > This is a short entry that hasn't been fully written yet. 🔴 **The $7,000,000.00 is itemised on `SA11AI`, the hard-money contribution line**, not on `SA17`. The line number is part of the fact. ## Related - [[Democracy Matters 15.5M to AB PAC and Project 218]] ## Sources - FEC Form 3X pre-general report, file **2039056** — https://docquery.fec.gov/dcdev/posted/2039056.fec
