# Preserve America PAC
**Preserve America PAC** is the pro-Trump super PAC funded almost entirely by the Adelson family. It is the purest example in this vault of a single donor household buying a presidential ad campaign outright.
## Two cycles, one family
- **2020.** The PAC spent about **$100 million** supporting Trump's re-election. About **$90 million** of it came from Sheldon and [[Miriam Adelson]].
- **2024.** After Sheldon Adelson died in January 2021, Miriam Adelson **revived the PAC**. She gave about **$100 million** over the summer and fall of 2024, in installments of roughly $25 million, and the PAC again spent more than $100 million. Reporting at the time put [[Chris LaCivita]], Trump's campaign co-manager, in charge of the super PAC's strategy in mid-2024. Republican strategist Dave Carney is its senior adviser.
Other donors are small by comparison, but some are telling. [[Safra Catz]]'s $1 million contribution is one of the clearest markers of the [[Oracle Corporation]] chief's political alignment with Trump.
## What the money buys
A super PAC may not coordinate with the candidate it supports, but the rules are thin when the same strategists move between the campaign and the committee. That was the situation in 2024 if the reporting on LaCivita is right. Preserve America's role was to add a nine-figure outside ad budget on top of the campaign's own.
## The policy trail
Sheldon Adelson's priorities were public and centered on Israel. He pushed for years to move the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem, which Trump did in 2018. For the corruption trackers in this vault, Preserve America is the cleanest case of a policy constituency concentrated in one household's checkbook. See [[Adelson Family]] and [[Las Vegas Sands]].
## 2026
No 2026-cycle activity has been confirmed for this committee (FEC committee C00752048).
