# Plains PAC
**Plains PAC** (FEC committee **C00750174**) is an independent-expenditure committee that spent
**$1,593,350.00 against [[Adam Hamilton]]**, the Democratic nominee in [[KS-Sen-2026]], on e-file
receipt date **2026-10-25** — nine days before the general election and its first appearance in that
race.
Unlike most of the committees that arrived in Kansas in the closing fortnight, its address of record is
**in the state**: **12641 Antioch Road, Suite #1040, Overland Park, Kansas 66213**, under treasurer
**Taylor Reed**.

### Payees on the filing
| Payee | Amount | Share |
|---|---|---|
| **[[Flexpoint Media]]** | **$1,584,000.00** | **99.41%** |
| **SLF PAC** | $8,500.00 | 0.53% |
| S2R LLC | $850.00 | 0.05% |
## 🔴 The two names on the payee list
**[[Flexpoint Media]] is the [[Senate Leadership Fund]]'s principal broadcast buyer**, and it placed
99.41% of this committee's Kansas money. It has now appeared on this site's record for the Senate
Leadership Fund, the [[Congressional Leadership Fund]], [[No Going Back PAC]], [[Last Frontier PAC]] and
this committee.
**The second payee row names SLF PAC itself** — the Senate Leadership Fund's spending committee — as the
recipient of $8,500.00 on this notice. A small payee row of that kind is the ordinary mechanism for
splitting a shared production or placement cost between committees buying the same airtime, and it is
reported as an expenditure rather than a transfer.
> [!warning] What this does not establish
> Using the same vendor as a party-aligned super PAC, and reimbursing it for a shared cost, is **lawful
> and does not establish coordination.** Independent-expenditure committees may not coordinate with a
> candidate's campaign; they may hire the same firms as each other, and the broadcast-buying market is
> small. What the filing does establish is that a reader counting committees spending against
> [[Adam Hamilton]] is not counting independent broadcast operations.
## What is not known
- **Who funds it.** No receipt from this committee has been traced to a filed document by this site. Its
own disclosure of donors would come on a periodic report, and the next one falls after the election.
- Whether **S2R LLC** appears on any other committee's filings.
