Per FEC Back-Sweep Standard **Rule 4c** that figure is filer-dependent and is **not** > publishable as a committee or race total — but the gap indicates reported spending before this line, and > no earlier notice from this committee has been read into this vault. **Open item: the committee's filing > history between its 2026-06-11 registration and 2026-10-08.** > [!tip] RESOLVED 2026-10-14 — who funds it > The committee's **Q3 2026 Form 3X arrived two days early** (file **2020411**, `F3XN`, received > **2026-10-13T11:38:46**, coverage 2026-07-01 to 2026-09-30) and the answer is **one committee at > 93.69%**: **[[United Futures PAC]]**, FEC C00960385, a Washington DC post-office box registered > **2026-08-31**. The largest individual donors sit in the **$50,000 band** — Gregory Orman, David Johnson, Terry Matlack, Thomas McDonnell — so there is no second funder of any scale. **The money is one layer removed and the outer layer discloses nothing yet.** United Futures PAC's own Q3 Form 3X is due **2026-10-15**. Its treasurer, **Christopher Koob**, also signs **[[Back the Bold]]** (C00771113, Moline IL), which disclosed **$1,100,000.01** from a single Chicago entity with no FEC identity on the same receipt date. And **[[New Path PAC]]** (C00963470) registered on 2026-10-13 at United Futures PAC's own PO box. ### Its own Schedule E, restated The Q3 report's $3,446,247.00 of independent expenditure is **11 rows restating notices already filed** — Screen Strategies Media $2,592,240.00, Tavern Research $800,000.00, Dixon / Davis Media Group LLC $54,007.00 — and is excluded from the 2026-10-13 tranche's new-money total per **Rule 4h**. The **$6,065,763.00 aggregate** noted below is therefore still unresolved to filed notices; **Tavern Research** is a vendor new to this vault. ## Why it matters **It is the first committee in this vault spending at scale against Roger Marshall.** Every prior Kansas entry in the [[KS-Sen-2026]] outside-money log runs the other way: SLF PAC, Win It Back PAC, Club for Growth Action and [[AFP Action]] have all spent against the Democrat [[Adam Hamilton]], and AFP Action's 2026-10-07 notice split to the cent between supporting Marshall and opposing Hamilton. This notice is **$2,619,516.00 pointed at the incumbent**, and on its own it is larger than the whole of either of the two preceding Kansas tranches. **Kansas is now contested on both sides.** On receipt date 2026-10-10 the race took **$3,182,893.68**, of which **82.3% is aimed at Marshall and 17.6% at Hamilton**. Nine days earlier the race was not in AFP Action's announced five-state Senate map at all. **The vendor links it to the other anti-incumbent Senate buy of the week.** Screen Strategies Media placed the whole of this notice. It is the same buyer that placed **$899,968.00** of Forward Alaska's **$1,012,968.00** against [[Dan Sullivan]] on receipt date 2026-10-09 — the largest single-day anti-Sullivan position in the vault. Two committees, two states, two Republican incumbents, one media buyer, inside two days. **This is two committees, not three, so the vendor does not yet meet this vault's threshold for a company page** — recorded as a watch item, not a conclusion. > [!note] Open questions > - ~~Who funds it~~ — **resolved 2026-10-14**: [[United Futures PAC]], $6,250,000.00, 93.69%. > - **Who funds [[United Futures PAC]].** Its Q3 Form 3X is due **2026-10-15**. This is now the live > question. > - Whether Gregory T. Wolf signs other committees. > - The missing earlier notices implied by the aggregate column — roughly **$2.6 million** of spending > beyond the 2026-10-08 line, still unresolved to filed documents. > - What **The Bench** is ($100,000.00 on the Q3 report). ## See Also - [[KS-Sen-2026]] · [[Roger Marshall]] · [[Adam Hamilton]] - [[United Futures PAC]] · [[United Futures PAC 6.25M to People Over Politics Action Fund]] · [[New Path PAC]] · [[Back the Bold]] - [[AFP Action]] · [[Senate Leadership Fund]] · [[AB PAC]] - [[Independent Expenditure]] · [[Super PACs]] · [[Dark Money]] - [[Organizations Hub]]
