# Immigration Reform Law Institute **Status: stub.** The legal arm of the [[Tanton Network]], operating as the litigation affiliate of [[FAIR]]. IRLI drafts model restrictionist legislation (including the template for Arizona's SB 1070), files immigration litigation, and supplies legal personnel to the movement. [[Kris Kobach]] served as its counsel, and through him IRLI's work flowed into state-level enforcement laws and, later, second-term federal immigration policy.
