# Digital Freedom Fund
The **Digital Freedom Fund** (FEC committee **C00911610**) is a crypto-industry super PAC, seeded by the
[[Winklevoss Twins]] and [[Kraken]], that received a **$21 million Bitcoin donation** from the twins on
August 20, 2025 — a second vehicle alongside [[Fairshake PAC]] in the industry's 2026 midterm spending, and
the one most explicitly aligned with the Trump wing of the party rather than with bipartisan "pro-crypto"
candidates.
As of **September 30, 2026** it is the largest single mail spender in the Ohio Senate special election.
## Ohio Senate spending
| Filing | Received | Amount | Direction | Vendor | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| **Form 24, file 2015656** | 2026-09-30 10:58:09 | **$2,970,198.67** | split | Minute Mail Consulting Group LLC | Direct mail, printing and postage, expenditures dated 2026-09-28 |
Two lines only, and they are split **to the cent**:
- **$1,485,099.34 opposing [[Sherrod Brown]]**
- **$1,485,099.33 supporting [[Jon Husted]]**
An exactly even two-way split through a single vendor on a single date is what an allocated shared-cost mail
program looks like — one print run, one postage bill, apportioned between the support and oppose halves that
independent-expenditure reporting requires to be filed separately.
> [!note] Shared vendor with No Going Back PAC
> **Minute Mail Consulting Group LLC** is also the vendor [[No Going Back PAC]] used for its September 2026
> Texas Senate direct mail. Two committees on one mail shop is a procurement fact, not a network fact — but
> it is the second such thread in this tranche (the other being Del Ray Media LLC across
> [[No Going Back PAC]] and [[MAGA Inc]]), and a third committee appearing on either vendor would be worth
> treating as a pattern.
## Context — the Ohio cluster
On 2026-09-30 five committees filed against or for the Ohio Senate seat on one receipt date, totalling
**$9,909,676.02** — the second-largest single-race day in the tranche after Texas. This committee's
$2,970,198.67 was the largest pro-Husted channel. See [[OH-Sen-2026-Special]] for the full log, including
**Retired Americans Action**, the only committee that day spending *against* Husted.
> [!note] Open questions
> Not yet covered here: full FEC receipt history, the
> relationship to [[Fairshake PAC]] and The Fellowship PAC, and whether the $21M Bitcoin seed has been
> liquidated.
