# Alaska Values PAC
**Alaska Values PAC** (FEC committee **C00960633**) is an independent-expenditure committee that
disclosed **$700,000.00** in [[AK-Sen-2026]] on e-file receipt date **2026-10-26**, eight days before
the general election. It files from **502 6th St, Hudson, Wisconsin 54016** under treasurer
**[[Thomas Datwyler]]**.
## The disclosed spending
| Filing | Received | Amount | Direction | Candidate | Vendor |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Form 24, file **2042156** | 2026-10-26T15:46:09 | **$350,000.00** | **oppose** | [[Dan Sullivan]] | Liberty Buying Partners LLC |
| Form 24, file **2042156** | 2026-10-26T15:46:09 | **$350,000.00** | **support** | Gerald L. (Jerry) Heikes | Liberty Buying Partners LLC |
| | | **$700,000.00** | | | **one vendor, 100%** |
Expenditure date **2026-10-26** on both lines, election code `G2026`. Two rows, split to the dollar,
placed entirely through **Liberty Buying Partners LLC**.
## 🔴 The shape of the buy
**Half the money opposes the Republican incumbent and half supports a candidate who is not his
Democratic opponent.** [[Dan Sullivan]] is the sitting Republican senator; the $350,000.00 on the other
side of the filing goes to neither him nor [[Mary Peltola]], the Democrat Cook rates this race a Toss Up
against.
Alaska counts its general election by **ranked-choice voting**, which is the context that makes an
evenly split buy of this kind legible: in an instant-runoff count, money spent raising a fourth
candidate's first-choice share and money spent lowering the incumbent's both work in the same
direction, without either being a contribution to the Democrat.
> [!warning] The beneficiary is not yet identified here
> **Gerald L. (Jerry) Heikes** appears on this page only as the filing names him. He is not among the
> candidates listed on [[AK-Sen-2026]], and this site has not established his party, his ballot status
> or whether he is campaigning. Nothing here should be read as a claim that he sought this spending or
> knew of it — an independent expenditure is by definition uncoordinated with the candidate it names.
## The Hudson, Wisconsin address
**[[Thomas Datwyler]] is the treasurer of record.** The same name, and in several cases the same Hudson
address, sits on a group of committees already tracked here: [[Red Alaska PAC]], [[WY Action]],
[[Buckeye Freedom PAC]] and [[Northshore Justice]], all registered on one day in October 2026, plus
[[Aurora Action Network]], which predates them. See
[[Datwyler Four Super PAC Formation Cluster October 2026]].
**This is the second Alaska-named committee on that roster**, alongside [[Red Alaska PAC]] — and it is
the first of the group recorded here spending at this scale.
It follows the [[State-Branded Super PAC Template]]: a state name the committee does not operate from, a
treasurer who signs for several committees at once, no disclosed principal, and spending that arrives
through a 24-hour notice well before any report of where the money came from.
## What is not known
- **Who funds it.** No receipt has been read from this committee.
- Whether the aggregate figures on the two rows — **$3,073,059.00** and **$3,423,059.00** — represent
earlier spending by this committee. They are **not published here as a committee or race total**: the
meaning of that column varies by filer and cannot be determined from two rows.
- Whether **Liberty Buying Partners LLC** places for the other committees on the Hudson roster.
