# AFL-CIO
The American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations — the largest federation of labor unions in the United States, formed by the 1955 merger of the AFL and the CIO. As the institutional center of organized labor, it is a recurring antagonist in the Right Wing KB's stories of conservative business power, most notably its decade-long national boycott of the [[Adolph Coors Brewing Company]] (1977–1987) over union-busting and discriminatory hiring.
