# 59 PAC An independent-expenditure-only super PAC registered in Anchorage, Alaska, three weeks before it spent. It is on the vault's record for one reason: **it is the fourth committee signed by the same treasurer, [[Trevor Kowalski]]**, and it bought through the [[Senate Leadership Fund]]'s own media vendor, on the same side of the same race, on the same day as SLF PAC. > [!important] 🔴 This closes an open item and raises the Kowalski cluster from three committees to four > The 2026-10-10 digest recorded 59 PAC as new to the vault and its registration as unread, noting only > that its numeric name was the same shape as [[75 PAC]], and stated explicitly that the resemblance was > *"recorded, not concluded."* **The Form 24 header answers it: the treasurer is Trevor Kowalski.** The > trigger that digest set — *"any Form 24 or Form 1 naming Kowalski as treasurer"* — is fired by the > document that was already in the tranche. Resolved 2026-10-11. ## What the FEC record says | Item | Detail | |---|---| | FEC committee ID | **C00961698** | | Committee type | **Super PAC (Independent Expenditure-Only)**, Unauthorized | | First filed | **2026-09-16** | | Address of record | Anchorage AK | | Treasurer | **[[Trevor Kowalski]]** | | Party / organization type | none reported | ### Filed independent expenditures | Filing | Received | Expenditure date | Amount | Direction | Payee | |---|---|---|---|---|---| | Form 24 (48-hour), **file 2018776** | 2026-10-09T12:53:02 | 2026-10-07 | **$95,876.00** | oppose [[Mary Peltola]], [[AK-Sen-2026]] | [[Flexpoint Media]] | One line, one payee, one target. Election code **G2026**. > [!note] An earlier notice is implied but not found > The single Schedule E row carries a running aggregate of **$201,875.00** against an amount of > **$95,876.00**. Per FEC Back-Sweep Standard **Rule 4c** that figure is filer-dependent and is **not** > publishable as a committee or race total — but the gap does indicate the committee reported spending > before this line, and no earlier 59 PAC notice has been read into this vault. **Open item: the > committee's filing history between 2026-09-16 and 2026-10-07.** ## Why it matters **The fourth committee makes the pattern a structure.** [[Trevor Kowalski]] now signs four independent-expenditure-only super PACs in four states — Ohio ([[75 PAC]]), Nebraska ([[Cornhusker Majority]]), Maine ([[The Maine Standard]]) and Alaska (this one). Two are state-identity names and two are bare numbers. Each presents as a local operation with an in-state suite address, and nothing on any of the four filings names any of the others. The treasurer line is the only link on the public record. **It bought alongside SLF PAC, not merely like it.** On expenditure date 2026-10-07, SLF PAC paid [[Flexpoint Media]] **$1,639,582.87** to oppose [[Mary Peltola]] and 59 PAC paid the same vendor **$95,876.00** to oppose her as well — two committees, one buyer, one target, one day. SLF PAC's treasurer is [[Caleb Crosby]]; 59 PAC's is Trevor Kowalski. See [[SLF 26M Senate IE October 2026]]. **$95,876.00 does not buy persuasion at Alaska rates.** The sum is roughly 5.8% of SLF PAC's buy against the same candidate and sits far below the vault's §7 thresholds. A committee that registers three weeks early, files once, and spends under $100,000 through the leadership vendor is more plausibly a placement vehicle than an advertiser — which is the same reading the vault has recorded for the other three Kowalski committees' smaller lines. **None of this establishes coordination and none of it needs to.** See [[State-Branded Super PAC Template]]. ## See Also - [[Trevor Kowalski]] · [[75 PAC]] · [[Cornhusker Majority]] · [[The Maine Standard]] - [[Senate Leadership Fund]] · [[SLF 26M Senate IE October 2026]] · [[Caleb Crosby]] - [[AK-Sen-2026]] · [[Mary Peltola]] · [[Dan Sullivan]] · [[Flexpoint Media]] - [[State-Branded Super PAC Template]] · [[Independent Expenditure]] · [[Super PACs]] · [[Dark Money]] - [[Organizations Hub]]
