# Pittsburgh Tribune-Review The **Pittsburgh Tribune-Review** was the newspaper [[Richard Mellon Scaife]] built into a conservative editorial voice in western Pennsylvania, a counterweight to the *Pittsburgh Post-Gazette*. It served as a media force-multiplier for the [[Scaife-Mellon Family]]'s political project. The print edition ceased in 2016; an online edition (TribLIVE) continues under successor ownership. > Status: **stub** — expand Scaife's ownership and editorial influence.
