# Forward Party > [!note] Stub > This is a short entry that hasn't been fully written yet. Centrist minor party launched by [[Andrew Yang]] in October 2021, which merged in July 2022 with the Renew America Movement and the Serve America Movement. It takes no national position on issues such as guns and abortion and campaigns instead on changing how elections work: open or nonpartisan primaries, [[Ranked-Choice Voting]] and independent redistricting.
