# President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology PCAST is the senior advisory body to the President on science and technology, housed within the [[Executive Office of the President Hub]]. In the second Trump administration it was reconstituted in March 2026 with [[David Sacks]] and [[Michael Kratsios]] as co-chairs and a membership heavy with tech and crypto figures including [[Marc Andreessen]] and Fred Ehrsam. When Sacks hit his 130-day cap as a special government employee and dropped the "AI/Crypto Czar" title, PCAST became the vehicle through which he continued advising the President on AI, crypto, quantum, and nuclear policy — a softer-disclosure perch that critics noted preserved his influence without the scrutiny attached to the czar role.
