# House Administration Committee The **Committee on House Administration** runs the House's internal operations and holds jurisdiction over federal election law, including the [[Help America Vote Act]] and the [[Election Assistance Commission]]. It is also the committee that hears contested House elections under the [[Federal Contested Elections Act]] and recommends how the full House should resolve them. In the 119th Congress it is chaired by Rep. Bryan Steil (R-Wis.), who signed the April 2025 report dismissing the Florida 14th District contest. This is a stub, created 2026-10-10 as a link target for the Federal Contested Elections Act page. Expand with membership, its election-law bills (the SAVE Act, the American Confidence in Elections Act), and its oversight of the EAC. ## See Also - [[Federal Contested Elections Act]] · [[Election Contest]] - [[Committees Hub]] · [[United States House of Representatives]]
