# Christian Nationalism Ecosystem
The umbrella network through which contemporary Christian Nationalism operates as a political force. **Christian Nationalism is not a single movement** — it is a coalition of five theologically distinct strains held together by a common political project: rolling back liberal-democratic pluralism in favor of an explicitly Christian (predominantly Protestant) ordering of American law, culture, and governance. The strains disagree about which church's authority ought to order the common good, how transformation should proceed (gradualist vs. revolutionary), and whether the program should be confessionally exclusive or culturally tolerant in practice — but they agree on the diagnosis (the current order is hostile to Christianity and must be replaced) and they agree on the operational coalition (donor networks, judicial-pipeline architecture, state-capture vehicles).
**Core thesis:** What was a fringe current on the edges of the religious right in 2010 has become one of the load-bearing operating ideologies of post-2020 Republican governance. The five strains have converged into a single political coalition whose institutional architecture — funders, think tanks, legal infrastructure, educational pipeline, mass-mobilization networks, and state-power vehicles — now constitutes a parallel governing apparatus running through the federal executive, federal judiciary, state legislatures, and a dense religious-civil-society overlay. PRRI polling (2023, 2024) finds roughly 30% of Americans hold Christian Nationalist views, with another ~25% sympathetic. The institutional capture has run faster than the popular conversion: a base of ~30% commands disproportionate influence because it commands the apparatus.

## The Five Strains
The strains are real divisions — if a unified Christian polity were ever attempted, they would fight each other over which church's authority ordered it. But for current political purposes the coalition holds because they share the operating apparatus.

### 1. Reformed / Theonomic / Reconstructionist
The *intellectual* wing of Christian Nationalism. Postmillennial (the kingdom advances *through* history toward eventual Christian dominance), covenantal, paedobaptist, drawn from Calvinist political theology, and the home of the most sophisticated public arguments for the program.
**Theological lineage.** [[R.J. Rushdoony]]'s [[Christian Reconstructionism]] (Chalcedon Foundation, *[[The Institutes of Biblical Law]]* 1973) → [[Gary North]]'s economic-and-cultural Reconstructionism → [[Greg Bahnsen]]'s theonomic ethics → contemporary public Christian Nationalism. The Reconstructionist core was a small circle for decades but its concepts (theonomy, dominion, presuppositionalist epistemology, covenant theology applied to civil life) seeded the broader Reformed-CN cluster now visible.
**Current visible core.**
- [[Stephen Wolfe]] — author of *[[The Case for Christian Nationalism]]* (2022, Canon Press); the movement's most credentialed academic voice; provides the Reformed-scholastic justification that makes hard CN intellectually respectable in evangelical seminary circles
- [[Douglas Wilson]] — Christ Church (Moscow, Idaho); architect of the "mere Christendom" project; runs the Canon Press / [[New Saint Andrews College]] / [[Logos School]] / [[CREC]] denominational ecosystem as a distributed training system for Reformed-CN pastors, teachers, and writers
- [[Andrew Isker]] — Wilson-adjacent pastor; co-author with [[Andrew Torba]] of *Christian Nationalism: A Biblical Guide* (2022); the bridge piece between the Reformed and ethnonationalist strains
- [[William Wolfe]] — Center for Baptist Leadership; former Trump-administration official (State, DOD); the figure translating Reformed CN into [[Southern Baptist Convention]] politics and Washington policy circles
**Institutional core.**
- [[Christ Church Moscow]] (Moscow, ID) — the geographic and operational center
- [[CREC]] (Communion of Reformed Evangelical Churches) — Wilson's denomination
- [[Canon Press]] — the publishing arm; Wolfe's *Case* is the marquee title
- [[New Saint Andrews College]] — classical Christian liberal-arts college
- [[Logos School]] — flagship classical-Christian K–12; the model that propagated through the [[Association of Classical Christian Schools]] (ACCS) network
- [[Founders Ministries]] — Reformed-Baptist-CN crossover; [[Tom Ascol]]'s network within the SBC
**Strategy.** Patient multigenerational cultural-takeover. Building the parallel institutional apparatus (schools, churches, publishing, denominations, eventually political offices) and waiting out the regime. Wilson's articulated theory of the case is "do everything in your zip code" — capture local institutions, repeat. The strain is the most disciplined and the most institutionally durable.
### 2. Charismatic / NAR / Apostolic-Prophetic
The *mass-mobilization* wing. Pentecostal/charismatic in style, continuationist (the apostolic gifts continue today), present-tense ("the kingdom is breaking in NOW"), and the largest Christian Nationalist constituency by raw numbers — tens of millions of Americans absorb NAR-produced worship music, prophetic content, and conference teaching, often without consciously identifying as NAR.
This strain has its own dedicated ecosystem document — see **[[New Apostolic Reformation Ecosystem]]** for the deep dive on Wagner lineage, IHOP/Bethel/Sheets nodes, prophecy-broadcast economy, ReAwaken America Tour, the Cyrus Prophecy framing of Trump, the Jericho March, and January 6 NAR involvement.
For coalition-architecture purposes the load-bearing facts are:
- [[C. Peter Wagner]]'s Fuller Seminary mid-1990s coining of "New Apostolic Reformation"; revived [[Apostles]] and prophetic offices as currently active
- [[Lance Wallnau]]'s 2015–2016 [[Cyrus Prophecy]] gave the entire charismatic world a theological license for Trump support and pre-immunized Trump against moral critique
- [[Paula White]]'s [[Trump Evangelical Advisory Board]] / White House Faith Office became the operational interface
- [[Sean Feucht]], [[Dutch Sheets]], [[Cindy Jacobs]], [[Mike Bickle]] (in scandal post-2023), [[Bill Johnson]] (Bethel/Redding) constitute the senior apostolic core
- The [[ReAwaken America Tour]] ([[Clay Clark]] / [[Michael Flynn]]) is the traveling visible face of the political fusion
The Reformed and charismatic wings disagree sharply on cessationism — Wilson's Moscow ecosystem regards charismatic claims of contemporary apostles and prophets as theologically suspect, and many NAR figures regard Reformed paedobaptism and lack of Spirit-experiential theology as deficient. The disagreement is real but hasn't broken the political coalition.
### 3. Catholic / Integralist
The *philosophical-academic* wing. Roman Catholic, sacramental, drawn from natural-law jurisprudence and post-liberal political theory; the theoretical-respectability crown of the Christian Nationalist coalition for elite legal and academic audiences.
**Theological-philosophical lineage.** Mid-20th-century Catholic ressourcement (de Lubac, Maritain, Pieper) → [[Alasdair MacIntyre]] (the *[[After Virtue]]* tradition) → contemporary [[Integralism]] / [[Catholic Post-Liberalism]].
**Current visible core.**
- [[Patrick Deneen]] — Notre Dame; *[[Why Liberalism Failed]]* (2018), *Regime Change* (2023); the most-read public voice
- [[Adrian Vermeule]] — Harvard Law; "common-good constitutionalism"; the legal-theory pole; co-author of *All the Kingdoms of the World* (Pink) on integralism
- Edmund Waldstein and Thomas Pink — the European integralist intellectual core
- [[Sohrab Ahmari]] — *Compact* magazine co-founder; the polemicist
- [[Chad Pecknold]] — CUA; the conservative-Catholic academic broker
- Gladden Pappin — *[[American Affairs]]* co-founder; the policy-minded Catholic post-liberal
- [[JD Vance]] — converted Catholic, the political vehicle; carries integralist sympathies into the executive branch
**Institutional core.**
- *American Affairs* — quarterly journal; Pappin
- *Compact* — magazine; Ahmari, Matthew Schmitz
- *The Postliberal Order* (Substack) — Vermeule, Pappin, Waldstein
- *[[First Things]]* — overlapping (Catholic and ecumenical religious-conservative, less explicitly integralist)
- The [[Edmund Burke Foundation]] (overlap with [[National Conservatism]])
- Catholic University of America (faculty cluster)
- Notre Dame Constitutional Studies (Vincent Phillip Munoz et al.)
- Harvard Law (Vermeule, plus students)
**Strategy.** Influence the legal academy and the federal judiciary; supply the philosophical infrastructure for [[Dominionism]]-flavored legal arguments without using the dominion vocabulary; staff the [[Trump II]] administration with Catholic post-liberals where possible (Vance is the highest visible result of this).
### 4. Dispensationalist / Christian-Zionist
The *eschatological-providential* wing, with the largest media-distribution reach and the most direct Israel-policy interface. Pre-tribulationist (Christ returns to take the church up before the seven-year tribulation), futurist (most prophecy is yet-future), and committed to the position that modern Israel plays a specific role in end-times prophecy.
**Theological lineage.** John Nelson Darby (19th-c.) → C.I. Scofield (the Scofield Reference Bible, 1909) → mid-20th-c. dispensationalist seminary culture (Dallas Theological) → Hal Lindsey (*The Late Great Planet Earth*, 1970) → [[Tim LaHaye]]'s *Left Behind* novel series (1995–2007) — which sold ~80 million copies and shaped the American evangelical eschatological imagination.
**Current visible core.**
- John Hagee — Cornerstone Church; founded Christians United for Israel ([[CUFI]]) (2006); the Israel-policy throughline
- [[Mike Pence]] — career-long dispensationalist; Israel-policy hawk; embassy-to-Jerusalem decision was theology-driven
- [[Mike Pompeo]] — Sec State who described his role through "rapture diplomacy" framing; left office in 2021 still publicly speculating about whether Trump's Jerusalem move had triggered prophetic acceleration
- [[Robert Jeffress]] — First Baptist Dallas; megachurch + television; the dispensationalist pulpit voice of Trump-era politics
- [[Eric Metaxas]] — biographer-turned-Christian-Nationalist-broadcaster; Bonhoeffer-as-resistance framing for present-day politics
- [[Pat Robertson]] (d. 2023) and the [[Christian Broadcasting Network]] / [[Regent University]] machine — the foundational distribution infrastructure
- Hank Hanegraaff and the prophecy-conference circuit
**Institutional core.**
- [[Christians United for Israel]] (CUFI) — Hagee's organization; the largest pro-Israel Christian advocacy group; ~10 million members
- *Left Behind* media franchise (LaHaye, Jenkins) — the imaginative substrate
- Dallas Theological Seminary
- Liberty University (foundationally dispensationalist, though has broadened)
- [[Trinity Broadcasting Network]] (TBN)
- [[Daystar Television Network]]
**Strategy.** Mobilize through media-and-megachurch saturation, organize foreign-policy pressure for maximalist Israel positions, supply the providentialist register of [[American Exceptionalism]]. Less revolutionary domestically than Reformed or NAR strains because the operative pre-tribulationist eschatology says the world will get worse until Christ removes the church — but the Israel-policy interface is operationally significant.
### 5. Ethnonational / Far-Right
The *boundary-pushing* wing. Explicitly white-Christian, antisemitic, hostile to Jewish and non-Christian participation in the program; the bridge between the broader CN coalition and the openly racist online right ([[Groyper Movement]], [[Christian Identity]] heritage). Smaller in raw numbers than the other strains but disproportionately influential online and in pushing the coalition's overton window.
**Current visible core.**
- [[Andrew Torba]] — CEO of [[Gab]]; co-author with [[Andrew Isker]] of *Christian Nationalism: A Biblical Guide*; the most explicitly ethnonationalist public voice; openly states the movement is for white Christians; rejects Jewish and non-Christian participation
- [[Andrew Isker]] — see Reformed strain; sits on the Reformed-ethnonational hinge
- [[Nick Fuentes]] (via the [[Groyper Movement]]) — Catholic-traditionalist crossover; [[America First]] Foundation; Trump [[Mar-a-Lago]] dinner (2022); explicit racial nationalism
- E. Michael Jones — older Catholic ethnonationalist; *Culture Wars*; the antisemitic-conspiracy intellectual layer
- The Tradcath / Catholic-traditionalist online cluster — overlaps with Fuentes; partial overlap with the Catholic-integralist strain on the post-liberal philosophical pieces but with explicit racial-nationalist content the integralists carefully avoid
**Institutional / platform core.**
- [[Gab]] — the social platform; Christian-nationalist branding; CSAM and antisemitism-tolerant moderation policy
- America First Foundation (Fuentes)
- *Culture Wars* magazine (Jones)
- The DLive / Cozy.tv / [[Telegram]] broadcast cluster
- *Christian Nationalism: A Biblical Guide* (Torba/Isker, 2022)
**Strategy.** Push the coalition's window rightward; absorb the Groyper-curious religious-conservative young men; bridge into the broader Christian Nationalist coalition through the Reformed-Baptist hinge ([[Andrew Isker]], some Wilson-orbit figures who tolerate Torba) and the Catholic-traditionalist hinge (Fuentes / Tradcath cluster).

## The Six Functional Layers
Across the strains, the same six functional layers carry the program. The strains differ in which layers they specialize in — but the coalition operates through all six.
### Layer 1: Theology Producers
The intellectual centers and publishing arms producing the doctrinal content the rest of the apparatus operates on.
- **Reformed:** [[Canon Press]], [[Christ Church Moscow]], the SBC seminaries (especially [[Albert Mohler]]'s Southern Seminary), [[Founders Ministries]], the Center for Baptist Leadership ([[William Wolfe]])
- **Charismatic:** [[Bethel Church]] (Redding) and Bethel Music; IHOP-KC (pre-2023 scandal); the Wagner Leadership Institute alumni network
- **Catholic-Integralist:** *American Affairs*, *Compact*, *Postliberal Order*, *First Things*, Notre Dame, CUA, Harvard Law cluster
- **Dispensationalist:** Dallas Theological Seminary, Liberty University, the Hagee/CUFI publishing apparatus, the *Left Behind* franchise
- **Ethnonational:** *Culture Wars*, the Torba/Isker book imprint, Gab as a self-publishing infrastructure
### Layer 2: Mass-Mobilization
Where the theology meets the membership; where coalition voters get organized; where rallies happen.
- **Reformed:** Smaller-scale; classical Christian schools (ACCS network), CREC churches, Founders/SBC pulpit network, Wilson's media ecosystem (BlogMatic / podcast empire)
- **Charismatic:** This is the strain's strength — see [[New Apostolic Reformation Ecosystem]]. [[ReAwaken America Tour]], [[Sean Feucht]]'s political-worship rallies, the prophecy-broadcast economy (FlashPoint, Elijah Streams, Julie Green), Faith and Freedom Coalition Sunday-morning operation. Tens of millions of touch-points
- **Catholic-Integralist:** Smaller; mostly elite-academic. The [[National Conservatism]] conference circuit is the closest mass-mobilization analog
- **Dispensationalist:** [[CUFI]] (~10M members), the megachurch TV-and-conference circuit, the Hagee/Jeffress pulpit network. Strong overlap with the [[Faith and Freedom Coalition]] for political-organizing handoff
- **Ethnonational:** Online-only mass mobilization; podcast / Telegram / Gab ecosystem; smaller in raw numbers but high engagement
### Layer 3: Political Operations
Where the coalition runs Republican-Party precinct, primary, and general-election mechanics; where movement-conservative coalition discipline is enforced.
- **[[Council for National Policy]]** is the elite coordinating body across all five strains — see [[Council for National Policy Ecosystem]] for depth. Tony Perkins, Ralph Reed, [[Cleta Mitchell]], Tim LaHaye-era founders, current Trump-era leadership
- **[[Faith and Freedom Coalition]]** ([[Ralph Reed]]) — voter-mobilization arm; the precinct/Sunday-morning machine
- **[[Family Research Council]]** ([[Tony Perkins]]) — D.C.-policy and broadcast arm
- **[[Concerned Women for America]]** — women's organizing layer
- **[[Eagle Forum]]** ([[Phyllis Schlafly]] legacy) — older social-conservative organizing
- **[[Charlie Kirk]] / [[Turning Point USA]]** — youth and campus mobilization; increasingly CN-coded since ~2020
- **[[ReAwaken America Tour]]** — fusion event format crossing strains
- **Trump-era specific:** [[Trump Evangelical Advisory Board]] ([[Paula White]]), [[White House Faith Office]]
### Layer 4: Funders
Donor architecture supplying the capital flow. See [[Dark Money Ecosystem]] for the full mechanics.
- **[[National Christian Foundation]] (NCF)** — donor-advised-fund infrastructure; the largest religious-conservative DAF; channel for billions in religious-conservative giving with sharply reduced disclosure requirements
- **[[Bradley Foundation]]** — long-running movement-conservative funder; CN-aligned grants
- **[[DonorsTrust]]** — DAF; CN-aligned grants
- **[[Council for National Policy]]** — donor-and-org matching room
- **[[Peter Thiel]] / [[Founders Fund]] interface** — funded [[New Founding]] (the Christian-nationalist-aligned business network) and the Vance/post-liberal political infrastructure; the highest-visibility tech-right interface with CN
- **[[Patriot Mobile]]** — for-profit, donates a slice of revenue to CN-coded political and litigation arms; cell-service-as-tithe-vehicle
- **[[Hobby Lobby]] / [[Green Family]]** — the [[Museum of the Bible]], "Bible curriculum in public schools" projects, *[[Burwell v. Hobby Lobby]]* litigation seeded by the family's religious-liberty agenda
- **DeVos family** — see [[DeVos Family Ecosystem]]; school-choice funding overlaps heavily with CN-aligned classical-Christian and religious charter expansion
### Layer 5: Educational Pipeline
The K–12, college, seminary, and law-school architecture that produces movement-aligned graduates.
- **K–12:**
- [[Logos School]] (Moscow, ID) and the [[ACCS]] network — the classical-Christian K–12 movement; ~300+ schools nationally; the Wilson-aligned pipeline
- [[Hillsdale College]]'s K–12 charter-school network — "American Classical Education" (the Hillsdale-1776 partnership) — the Hillsdale-aligned classical charter expansion using state funding for CN-flavored curriculum
- The homeschool movement broadly — HSLDA infrastructure ([[Michael Farris]]), Quiverfull and CN-coded curriculum publishers
- The Southern Baptist and PCA Christian-school networks
- **College:**
- [[Hillsdale College]] — non-Christian-Nationalist by self-presentation but CN-aligned institutionally; Kirk-and-Robespierre [[Imprimis]] reach; the classical-conservative alma mater
- [[Patrick Henry College]] — explicitly biblical-worldview; produces movement staff
- [[Liberty University]] — dispensationalist roots; broader evangelical-conservative reach; large
- [[Grove City College]] — Reformed-conservative; Federalist-Society pipeline
- [[Wheaton College]] — broader evangelical (more diverse politically) but supplies elite-academic CN-curious pastors
- [[The King's College]] (NYC, closed/reopened) — Falwell-era; conservative Christian liberal-arts
- [[Bob Jones University]] — Christian Fundamentalist legacy; smaller current footprint
- **Seminary:**
- [[Southern Baptist Theological Seminary]] (Mohler) — the dominant evangelical-CN seminary
- [[Reformed Theological Seminary]]; [[Westminster Theological Seminary]]; [[Westminster Seminary California]] — Reformed pipelines
- [[Dallas Theological Seminary]] — dispensationalist pipeline
- **Law school:**
- [[Federalist Society]] interfacing with [[Notre Dame Law]], [[Harvard Law]] (Vermeule), [[Antonin Scalia Law School]], [[Liberty University Law]], [[Regent University Law]] (Robertson)
### Layer 6: Legal-Litigation Infrastructure
The constitutional and statutory apparatus that translates CN priorities into court cases, regulations, and judicial doctrine.
- **[[Federalist Society]]** — judicial-pipeline architecture; [[Leonard Leo]] node; the Court majority delivered post-2020 was substantially their work
- **[[Alliance Defending Freedom]] (ADF)** — the largest CN-aligned litigation organization; *Dobbs* amicus, *303 Creative*, the religious-liberty docket
- **[[Liberty Counsel]]** — Mat Staver; smaller but aggressive religious-liberty docket
- **[[Becket Fund]]** (Becket Law) — religious-liberty litigation; somewhat broader (not strictly CN) but CN-aligned in current docket
- **[[First Liberty Institute]]** — *Kennedy v. Bremerton* (the praying-coach case that abandoned the *Lemon* test)
- **[[American Center for Law and Justice]]** (ACLJ) — [[Jay Sekulow]]; Robertson-era founded; broader Trump-defense work + religious-liberty
- **[[WallBuilders]]** ([[David Barton]]) — the historical-narrative engine ("America was founded as a Christian nation"); supplies the originalist-friendly history that ADF and Federalist Society litigators cite
- **State-level legislative-litigation factories:** Louisiana HB 71 ([[Ten Commandments]] in classrooms), Texas SB 1396, Oklahoma school-funding initiatives ([[Ryan Walters]]); each state law is also a litigation-engineering project designed to push the post-*Bremerton* Court to overturn earlier Establishment Clause precedent
### Layer 7: State-Power Vehicles
The federal-executive and federal-legislative machinery the coalition has captured or is contesting.
- **[[Center for Renewing America]] ([[Russell Vought]])** — the operational headquarters of state-capture CN; supplied principal architecture of [[Project 2025]] and [[Schedule F]]
- **[[Project 2025]]** ([[Heritage Foundation]] + ~110 partner orgs) — the Trump II governing blueprint; saturated with CN assumptions in the chapters drafted by CRA
- **[[Schedule F]]** — the executive-order mechanism enabling civil-service replacement at scale; designed by Vought; the CN institutional-capture theory in operational form
- **[[Mike Johnson]]** — Speaker of the House; quieter CN-aligned (avoids the label but the worldview is fully present in his public theology); House CN policy-coordination via the [[Republican Study Committee]]
- **[[Russell Vought]]** at OMB (Trump II) — the single most consequential CN figure in actual executive power
- **[[Office of Personnel Management]]** under Trump II — staffed by CRA and CN-aligned operators; runs the Schedule F implementation
- **The [[Federal Judiciary]] (post-2020)** — Roberts Court majority delivered *Kennedy v. Bremerton*, *[[Carson v. Makin]]*, *[[Espinoza v. Montana]]*, *Dobbs*; CN-aligned doctrinal trajectory across religion-clauses, religious-funding, and reproductive cases
- **State-level executive vehicles:** [[Greg Abbott]] (TX), [[Ron DeSantis]] (FL — partial overlap), [[Jeff Landry]] (LA), [[Sarah Huckabee Sanders]] (AR), [[Kristi Noem]] (SD); these governors run state-level CN programs (Ten Commandments, classroom chaplains, school-funded religious instruction, abortion bans, "anti-DEI" laws)

## How the Strains Connect
The five strains are not isolated. Several specific connection points carry coalition discipline.
**The Wilson↔Torba hinge.** Andrew Isker sits between the Reformed Wilson-orbit and Torba's ethnonational program. Wilson himself maintains plausible-deniability distance from Torba's most explicit antisemitism but has appeared in shared media spaces and tolerated Isker's overlap. The hinge is operationally important because it lets the Reformed strain absorb Groyper-curious young men through Wilson-orbit catechesis, and lets Torba claim Reformed legitimacy.
**The Vought↔Wallnau↔Wolfe interface.** [[Russell Vought]] (Reformed/Reconstructionist-influenced) heads the executive-state-capture vehicle; [[Lance Wallnau]] (NAR/charismatic) heads the mass-mobilization theological framing for Trump support; [[Stephen Wolfe]] (Reformed-academic) supplies the public intellectual respectability. Each operates in a different layer and the three together cover the Reformed-charismatic alliance core.
**The Vance↔Deneen↔Vermeule axis.** [[JD Vance]] is the political vehicle for the Catholic-integralist intellectual project. Deneen and Vermeule are the public faces of the philosophical infrastructure. [[Peter Thiel]] funded the political vehicle; the [[New Right]] tech-right interface keeps the Catholic-integralist strand connected to Silicon Valley capital and post-liberal-tech vehicles like [[Christian Network State]].
**The Hagee↔Pence↔Pompeo Israel pipeline.** The dispensationalist strain's outsized foreign-policy footprint runs through Hagee/CUFI to Pence/Pompeo and into the Trump I and II Israel-policy apparatus. This is the strain that most consistently delivers on its narrow set of priorities — embassy moves, settlement-policy alignment, anti-BDS state legislation — and the one most underestimated by analysts who treat it as folk theology rather than operational politics.
**The CNP integration room.** [[Council for National Policy]] is where Reformed, charismatic, dispensationalist, Catholic-integralist, business-conservative, and political-operative members meet three times a year, work out coalition priorities, and align spending. Without CNP, the strains would compete for donor attention; with CNP, they coordinate. CNP is the load-bearing institution of coalition discipline and is itself one of the most under-known nodes of the apparatus — see [[Council for National Policy Ecosystem]].
---
## Recent Developments (2024–2026)
A condensed chronology of consequential coalition moves since the last update of [[Christian Nationalism]] (April 2026):
- **Project 2025 → Trump II governance (Jan 2025–).** Vought returns to OMB; Schedule F revoked-and-restored vehicles in motion; the CN-aligned political-appointee class lands across DOL, OPM, Justice Civil Rights Division, OCR (Education), HHS, and DHS leadership. The CRA-staffed scenario the [[Project 2025]] document mapped is now an operational program, not a hypothetical
- **Louisiana Ten Commandments litigation (2024–2026).** HB 71's classroom-display mandate is litigated; preliminary injunction blocking enforcement is partially overturned in early 2026; case is heading toward Supreme Court review with the explicit goal of overruling [[Stone v. Graham]] (1980). [[Ten Commandments]]
- **[[EO 14173]] (Jan 21, 2025).** Trump revokes [[EO 11246]] (LBJ's affirmative-action EO, in continuous force since 1965); orders federal contractors out of "illegal DEI" programs; America First Legal ([[Stephen Miller]]) launches Title VII / [[Section 1981]] litigation against private-sector DEI programs. [[Affirmative Action]]
- **Dispensationalist Israel-policy continuity.** Despite Pence's exit from the executive branch, the dispensationalist Israel-policy infrastructure remains operational through Hagee/CUFI; current administration's Israel posture continues the providentialist frame
- **NAR continuing political activation.** [[Sean Feucht]]'s outdoor-worship rallies remain a recurring Republican-organizing format; the [[ReAwaken America Tour]] continues; the prophecy-broadcast economy extends into the next election cycle. See [[New Apostolic Reformation Ecosystem]] for depth
- **Catholic-integralist legitimacy gain.** Vance VP / heir-apparent posture lifts the Catholic-integralist strand's public profile; *American Affairs* and *Compact* readership grows; Vermeule's "common-good constitutionalism" begins to surface in Federalist Society outline arguments more openly than during Trump I
- **Reformed/Wolfe political activation.** [[Stephen Wolfe]]'s public profile continues rising; the *Case for Christian Nationalism* concept enters Republican policy conversations more openly; Wolfe-aligned figures begin contesting SBC and PCA institutional positions more aggressively
- **Torba/Gab continuing infrastructure.** [[Gab]] remains the largest CN-aligned platform, with continuing antisemitism and CSAM moderation issues; the ethnonational strain's online infrastructure intact

## Why This Ecosystem Matters
Three analytical points the coalition view makes visible that single-strain analyses miss.
**1. The institutional capture has run faster than the popular conversion.** A base of ~30% commands disproportionate influence because it commands the apparatus. The judicial pipeline (Federalist Society, ADF, Becket, First Liberty) delivered post-2020 majorities; the CNP coordinating room aligns donor-and-org spending; the [[Project 2025]] / [[Schedule F]] vehicles capture the federal executive; the educational-pipeline expansion produces movement-aligned graduates faster than popular opinion shifts. Counter-mobilization that focuses on changing public opinion without contesting the institutional capture is fighting the wrong battle.
**2. The strains' theological disagreements do not (yet) limit their political coalition.** Reformed cessationists, charismatic continuationists, Catholic sacramentalists, and dispensationalist pre-tribbers have incompatible theologies but share a political program. Analysts who expect doctrinal incompatibility to fracture the coalition are reasoning from the wrong frame; the coalition is held together by the political project, not by shared theology. The interesting empirical question is not *whether* the strains agree theologically but *what would have to happen* to make the political coalition fracture (a Trump succession crisis, a hard Israel-policy split, a Catholic-vs-Protestant institutional fight in a Vance presidency are the candidate stress fractures).
**3. The ethnonational strain is the early-warning indicator.** Movements absorb their fringe into their mainstream more often than they expel it. The Torba/Isker hinge into the Wilson-orbit Reformed strain is the load-bearing test case for whether the broader coalition will absorb explicit ethnonationalism or expel it. The current trajectory (Wilson-orbit tolerance of Isker, Trump-orbit tolerance of Fuentes since the 2022 Mar-a-Lago dinner, increasing CN-coded antisemitism in the Torba/Gab orbit) suggests absorption is the current vector. The historical pattern is that absorption is rarely reversed without external pressure or a coalition-crisis moment.
