# Yass 10M to V PAC August 2026
On **August 10, 2026**, [[Jeff Yass]] gave **$10,000,000.00** to [[V PAC Victors Not Victims]], the

disclosed until **October 15, 2026** — **sixty-six days later**, and eighteen days before the election —
on the committee's quarterly report.

> [!note] The aggregate column is calendar-2026, not the cycle total
> The filing's aggregate column reads **$20,000,000.00** against this row. Yass's calendar-2026
> contributions to this committee are $5,000,000.00 (January 12) + $5,000,000.00 (March 27) +
> $10,000,000.00 (August 10) = **$20,000,000.00**, which is internally consistent. His **cycle**
> contributions include a further **$10,000,000.00 dated 2025-03-06** (file 1907313), so the
> cycle-to-date total is **$30,000,000.00**. The aggregate column's meaning is filer-dependent and is
> derived here rather than quoted. See [[Yass 20M to V PAC Ramaswamy Ohio]] for the first three tranches.
## Why it matters
**It makes one man the majority funder of a governor's race.** Before this tranche, press reporting in July
put Yass at $20 million of a roughly $42 million committee — already the largest single source. At
$30,000,000.00 he is the dominant funder of the outside money in an Ohio gubernatorial general election,
and the second-largest individual backer, [[Ratmir Timashev]], is at $10,000,000.00 after his own September
tranche. See [[Timashev 5M to V PAC September 2026]].
**The disclosure gap is the structural fact, and it is not an irregularity.** V-PAC is a quarterly filer.
Money that arrived on August 10 owed no disclosure until October 15. The committee entered the quarter with
**$25,852,229.95** on hand — a figure that reconciles with the *Ohio Capital Journal*'s July report of
"$25.8 million in cash on hand at the end of the second quarter" — and spent through the summer while the
public record showed the pre-primary donor list. The ads ran on August money; the voters learned whose
money in October.
**Ohio is where the tech-right's state strategy is most legible.** Yass, [[Elon Musk]] and Timashev are all
on this committee's donor list, and all three are tech-fortune donors backing a candidate drawn from the
same world rather than from the party's officeholder class. Ohio is a strategic-anchor state in the
[[Project 2025]] federalism architecture, and the gubernatorial office is the lever.
