# Pajcic 6.8M Two Committee Senate Program October 2026
On **2026-10-13**, **[[Stephen Pajcic III]]** — a Jacksonville trial lawyer and the 1986 Democratic
nominee for Governor of Florida — paid **$6,800,000.00** into two federal committees that had **zero
dollars on hand** at the start of the month and no other contributor of any size.
| Recipient | FEC ID | Amount | Date | Line | Share of receipts | File |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| **[[New Deal for All]]** | C00962696 | $4,200,000.00 + $1,400,000.00 = **$5,600,000.00** | 2026-10-13 | `SA11AI` | **100%** | 2031745 |
| **[[Freedom from Politics]]** | C00962704 | **$1,200,000.00** | 2026-10-13 | `SA11AI` | **100%** | 2031719 |
## What it bought, in 72 hours
Both committees placed their first advertising on **2026-10-14**, the day after the money arrived, and
more on **2026-10-16**. Every line is an **oppose** buy against a Republican Senate candidate.
| Race | Candidate opposed | Amount | Committee |
|---|---|---|---|
| [[FL-Sen-2026-Special]] | [[Ashley Moody]] | **$3,096,631.18** | New Deal for All |
| [[SC-Sen-2026]] | [[Darline Graham]] | $1,196,771.00 | New Deal for All |
| [[NE-Sen-2026]] | [[Pete Ricketts]] | $906,000.00 | Freedom from Politics |
| [[KS-Sen-2026]] | [[Roger Marshall]] | $908,610.17 | New Deal for All |
| [[MS-Sen-2026]] | [[Cindy Hyde-Smith]] | $481,500.00 | New Deal for All |
| [[SD-Sen-2026]] | [[Mike Rounds]] | $293,664.69 | Freedom from Politics |
| **total** | | **$6,883,177.04** | |
Vendors: **Canal Partners Media** ($6,611,494.00 of the total), **Counsel Media LLC** ($191,683.04) and
**Schwartz & Sons LLC** ($80,000.00). None of the three appears elsewhere on this site.
## Why it matters
**It is a one-person Senate map.** Four of the six states — Kansas, Mississippi, South Dakota and
Nebraska — have been treated through this cycle as safe Republican holds and have drawn almost no
Democratic-side outside money. One donor has now put **$2,589,774.86** into advertising across those four
at once. Whether that is a serious attempt to stretch the map or a late, broad bet, it is the single
largest Democratic-side intervention recorded here in any of them.
**The committees are the donor.** Both were empty on 2026-10-01, both were funded in full on 2026-10-13,
and between them they have spent **$6,883,177.04** — slightly more than they were given, so a further
receipt is coming on the pre-general report. There is no second contributor, no membership and no prior
spending history. The committee names are branding on a bank account.
**Florida is the real target.** $3.1 million, 45% of the whole programme, goes against
[[Ashley Moody]] in the Florida special election — the race in Pajcic's own state, the one he nearly
governed.
**One vendor placed 96% of it.** Canal Partners Media handled both committees' main buys on the same day.
Separate committees sharing a media firm is normal practice and not evidence of coordination; it does
mean that the operational programme is one programme with two filers' names on it.
> [!note] Where the spending appeared, and why it is being logged now
> The six-state buy was first disclosed on the four 24-hour notices listed in the sources, filed between
> 2026-10-15 and 2026-10-17. The committees' 2026-10-20 reports restate the same lines — verified
> identical, line by line — rather than adding new spending, so the figures above are the programme's
> total and not an addition to it. What **is** new on 2026-10-20 is the funding side: this is the first
> document to name who paid for any of it.
## Open questions
- The further receipt the arithmetic requires: the committees have spent $83,177.04 more than disclosed
income.
- Canal Partners Media, Counsel Media LLC and Schwartz & Sons LLC, none of which has a page here.
- Whether a third Pajcic committee registers before election day.
- Whether the Nebraska and Kansas buys are followed by anyone else, which is what would turn a single
donor's bet into a contested race.
