# Our Voice for America PAC Formation October 2026
On e-file receipt date **2026-10-26**, eight days before the general election,
**[[Our Voice for America PAC]]** (FEC **C00964205**) registered with the Federal Election Commission.
Its Form 1, file **2042268**, names **[[Sharron Angle]]** as the committee's officer, its treasurer and
its custodian of records — three roles, one person, one residential address in Reno.
This site records **every new federal political committee registration** during the midterm window with
no dollar floor, because formation is the one event that happens before the money does. Most
registrations in a closing fortnight are unremarkable. This one has a name attached to it.

## Why the name matters
[[Sharron Angle]] was the **Tea Party movement's 2010 Republican nominee for the United States Senate in
Nevada**, running against the sitting Senate Majority Leader, [[Harry Reid]]. She won the primary with
[[Tea Party Express]]'s backing against the establishment-preferred candidate, and then lost a general
election the party had been favoured to win.
That sequence became the movement's own standing cautionary tale about nominating for ideological
fidelity over general-election strength — an argument that has resurfaced in Republican Senate primaries
in every cycle since. A new committee in her name, filed in the final week of a midterm, is a small
event with a long memory attached to it.
## What a registration this late can and cannot be
**Eight days is not enough time to raise and spend meaningfully in this cycle.** A committee filed now is
more plausibly built for what comes after it: a vehicle positioned for the 2028 cycle, a fundraising
entity attached to a recognised name, or a state-level operation taking a federal form. Which of those
this is cannot be read off a Form 1, and this page does not guess.
> [!warning] What this Deal does not claim
> **No money is disclosed on this filing, and none is asserted here.** The committee's type is also
> unresolved: the field on a Form 1 that resembles a committee-type code has been found in documented
> cases here to disagree with the FEC's eventual classification, and the FEC's own classification lags a
> one-day-old registration. This page therefore does not say whether this is a super PAC, a traditional
> PAC or a leadership PAC.
## What to watch
- **Any receipt or expenditure before 2026-11-03.** A registration with nothing behind it is a different
object from one that spends immediately.
- **The FEC's published committee type**, which settles what kind of vehicle this is.
- Whether the committee files in Nevada races or nationally.
