# Nevadans for Socialism Formation October 2026
On **2026-10-30**, four days before the general election, a federal political committee named
**Nevadans for Socialism** registered with the Federal Election Commission. Its Form 1 (file
**2044218**, received **11:05:24** that morning) gives a Hudson, Wisconsin address, a personal Gmail
address, and a Minnesota bank — the same three details that appear on every filing in a cluster of
2026 super PACs this wiki has been tracking since September.
It has filed nothing else. There is no money on its record at all.

> [!warning] The form does not tell you what kind of committee this is
> Form 1 carries a field that looks like a committee type and is not one. This wiki has two direct
> disproofs on its own record: Together Houston and Buckeye Freedom PAC were both classified as
> independent-expenditure-only committees by the FEC's processed register while their own Form 1s read
> `H` and `G` respectively. This filing reads `G`. **Whether Nevadans for Socialism is a super PAC, a
> party-adjacent committee or something else is open**, and the FEC's register had not yet published
> the committee when this page was written — new registrations take one to three days to appear there.
## Why it is on the map
Three things make a committee with no money worth a page.
**It is the tenth.** [[Thomas Datwyler]] is a high-volume Republican campaign-finance compliance
treasurer, and this wiki's record now holds **ten** federal committees naming him as treasurer, nine of
them found before today. Four registered in a single filing session on 2026-10-05 —
see [[Datwyler Four Super PAC Formation Cluster October 2026]].
🔴 **Two of those four have since moved on, and that cuts the other way.** Checked against the FEC
register on 2026-10-31, [[Northshore Justice]] now files from **PO Box 191, Ruston, Louisiana** under
treasurer **Sarah Johnson**, and [[Buckeye Freedom PAC]] from **2323 Citygate Drive, Columbus, Ohio**
under treasurer **Amanda West**. Neither is a Hudson committee any more. Committees that leave a
treasurer three weeks after registering with him are what a **client relationship** looks like, and
the wiki records that as evidence for the vendor reading of this cluster rather than against it.
**It is the seventh committee at this exact street address.** The Datwyler page has carried a standing
open question since 2026-10-12: *a seventh committee from Hudson, WI.* This answers it, and the FEC's
own register of committees answers it more fully than the question expected. Six committees already
list **502 6th Street, Hudson, WI** as their address of record — Red Alaska PAC (C00963025), WY Action
(C00963041), Mobilizing Americans for Real Change and Opportunity PAC (C00962019), Alaska Values PAC
(C00960633), Helping Elect American Leaders PAC (C00884452) and HEAL America (C00878389), all naming
Datwyler as treasurer. Nevadans for Socialism makes **seven at one street address**, with two further
Datwyler committees elsewhere in Hudson and in Anchorage.
**Every non-name field matches the cluster signature.** The same personal Gmail address, the same
phone number, the same depository bank in Lino Lakes, Minnesota, and `NONE` for a connected
organisation. On the paperwork this is the same practice filing the same form again.
## 🔴 The name is the part that is different
The nine committees already on the record are named in one register: states and regions, in a
conservative idiom — [[WY Action]], [[Red Alaska PAC]], [[Buckeye Freedom PAC]], [[Northshore Justice]],
[[Aurora Action Network]]. **"Nevadans for Socialism" is the first in the cluster whose name reads from
the left**, and it reads that way in a particular manner: not as a progressive brand a progressive
group would choose for itself, but as the label an opponent would use.
Two readings are available and **the filing settles neither**:
- a committee that intends to present itself as left-wing, which is the shape of the fake-progressive
spoiler operation this wiki documents at [[American Prosperity Alliance]] — where Republican money
funded super PACs branded as progressive to shape Democratic primaries; or
- a committee whose name is an attack line, meant to attach the word to an opponent rather than to
itself.
**Nothing on this filing chooses between them**, and the wiki asserts neither. What would choose
between them is a single Schedule E line naming a candidate and a support-or-oppose indicator. The
committee has not filed one.
> [!caution] A treasurer is a vendor, not a principal
> This is the wiki's standing caution and it applies here at full strength. A compliance treasurer
> signs for many clients. Ten committees naming one treasurer is ten clients hiring one practice **or**
> fewer operations opening more committees, and **the filings cannot tell you which** — one of the ten
> is a candidate's own campaign committee, which is plainly a client relationship. Nothing on this page
> asserts that Datwyler funds, directs, names or knows the backers of any committee he signs for. What
> the paperwork establishes is **form**: this is a professionally administered committee, not a
> grassroots one.
## Nevada is not on the 2026 Senate map
There is no Nevada Senate seat on the 2026 ballot, so a Nevada-branded federal committee registering
now is not positioned for a Senate race. If it spends at all, it spends in a Nevada House district or
on a federal race elsewhere despite the name — and with four days left, any expenditure would arrive on
a 24- or 48-hour notice rather than a periodic report.
## What to watch
- 🔴 **The first Schedule E line.** It would name a candidate and a support-or-oppose indicator, which
is the one fact that distinguishes the two readings of the name above.
- 🔴 **Any Schedule A receipt.** Every committee in this cluster but [[Aurora Action Network]] has
disclosed no money at all; a funder here would be the first.
- **The FEC's processed register**, in one to three days, for the committee type the Form 1 does not
establish.
- **An eleventh committee**, or a third at 502 6th Street.
