# House Majority PAC 49.9M House Map IE October 2026
On **e-file receipt date 2026-10-15** — the Q3 filing deadline — [[House Majority PAC]] disclosed
**$49,877,821.42** of independent expenditures across **203 Schedule E lines** in **50 House races** on a
single **Form 24** notice, file **2027688**. It is the **largest single Form 24 notice in this vault's
entire 2026 record**, in either partisan direction, and it clears the **$10,000,000.00 single-buy
threshold** nearly five times over.
Every expenditure carries the same dissemination date — **2026-10-13** — which makes this one buy placed
on one day across fifty districts.
> [!warning] 🔴 The largest filing of the cycle landed on the busiest filing day of the cycle
> This notice was received on **October 15** — the quarterly report deadline, and the single
> highest-traffic day in the federal disclosure calendar, when more than a thousand documents arrive at
> once and the largest committees file hundreds of pages of receipts. **A $49.9 million notice in fifty
> districts went up inside that wave**, late in the evening, and this site found it a day afterwards
> rather than on the day.
>
> That is worth stating plainly because it is a general property of the system rather than an accident:
> the deadline that forces committees to disclose the most is also the moment at which any one
> disclosure is hardest to see. Same-day reporting of a deadline day is reliably incomplete, and a
> figure published that evening is a floor rather than a count.

## Why it matters
🔴 **It is the single largest independent-expenditure notice in this vault's record, and it is
Democratic.** The vault's 2026 coverage has been dominated by the Republican leadership vehicles and the
tech-fortune networks funding them. This notice is larger than any of them: bigger than the
[[Congressional Leadership Fund]]'s $35,119,415.63 House notice of the following day, bigger than SLF
PAC's $33,080,843.43 Senate notice, and bigger than any single Texas PAC filing. **Fifty districts,
one dissemination date, one vendor taking 78.5%.**
🔴 **The Waterfront Strategies trigger fires at nearly twice its threshold.** This vault had been
watching for "any single Waterfront Strategies notice above $20M." This one is **$39,139,326.05** —
78.5% of a $49.9M buy through one firm. Waterfront is the Democratic-side counterpart to
[[Flexpoint Media]], which took **$38,746,319.89** across the two Republican leadership notices on the
following receipt date. **The two parties' House and Senate programmes each run through a single
concentrated placement firm, at almost exactly the same scale, inside two days.**
**Two candidates were targeted from both directions inside forty-eight hours.**
[[Laurie Buckhout]] (NC) took **$2,700,906.29 opposing** from HMP on October 15 and **$100,000.00
supporting** from CLF on October 16. [[Marcy Kaptur]] (OH) took **$27,684.00 supporting** from HMP and
**$777,953.89 opposing** from CLF. The mirror is exact, and in Kaptur's case the committee defending a
nineteen-term Democrat spent 3.6% of what the committee attacking her did.
**The map is the forecast.** Florida supplies the two largest lines and four of the top eleven;
Pennsylvania, Michigan and Ohio each appear three or more times. The notice targets a long list of
**sitting Republican incumbents** — Fitzpatrick, Van Orden, Miller, Luna, Perry, Steil, Huizenga,
De La Cruz, Valadao, Turner, Ciscomani, Nunn, Lawler, Kiggans, Kean, Carey, Begich — which is what a
committee spending to flip a chamber rather than to hold one looks like.
> [!note] What this figure is, and what it is not
> This is the sum of the **live Schedule E lines on one Form 24 notice**, derived from the filed document
> rather than from any API aggregation, with memo-flagged and amendment rows excluded (there are none in
> this document). The **cycle aggregate** column is the filing's own, whose meaning is filer-dependent,
> and is reproduced as reported rather than as a derived race total. Because this notice was recovered on
> a **T-2 re-scan**, its receipt date was closed when it was read, so this figure is not a partial-day
> first read.
