# Bloomberg 25M Four Committee Funding Block September 2026 Four committees filing on **2026-10-20** each itemised a contribution from **[[Michael Bloomberg]]**. Together they are **$25,000,000.00**, and the bulk of it is a single check. ## The four rows | Amount | Date | Recipient | FEC ID | Line | Source file | |---|---|---|---|---|---| | **$22,000,000.00** | 2026-09-24 | **[[Everytown for Gun Safety Victory Fund]]** | C00688655 | `SA11AI` | 2033554 | | $1,000,000.00 | 2026-09-22 | Planned Parenthood Votes | C00489799 | `SA11AI` | 2033567 | | $1,000,000.00 | 2026-10-06 | Human Rights Campaign Equality Votes PAC | C00508440 | `SA11AI` | 2031550 | | $1,000,000.00 | 2026-09-01 | Unite America PAC Inc. | C00677773 | `SA17` | 2032724 | He is filed as `Bloomberg, Michael R.`, employer **Bloomberg Inc.**, occupation **Founder**, at a New York post-office box on three of the four rows and at 25 E 78th St and 731 Lexington Ave on the others. > [!note] One of the four is not a contribution > The Unite America row sits on **Line 17, Other Federal Receipts**, and the committee's own memo text > reads *"Non-Contribution Account - Receipt."* It is money into a hybrid committee's non-contribution > account, which the law treats differently from a contribution to the committee's federal account. The > other three rows are itemised Line 11(a)(i) individual contributions. ## Why the $22 million row matters **It is almost the whole month.** Everytown's Victory Fund took in $22,024,637.32 in September. Bloomberg's check is **99.89%** of it. There is no second contributor of comparable size on the document. **It has not been spent.** The committee disbursed $113,316.92 in September and closed the month with **$31,417,507.79 in cash**. Everytown's election arm went into the final five weeks of the campaign with more than $31 million banked and nearly all of it from one person. **It is a return to a familiar pattern at larger scale.** Bloomberg has funded Everytown since founding its predecessor organisation, and the [[Michael Bloomberg]] page here records the same shape in earlier cycles — the organisation's electoral capacity is, in practice, one person's annual decision. ## The smaller three, read together The three $1 million rows land in the three places Bloomberg has given most consistently outside gun policy: reproductive rights, LGBTQ rights and election-process reform. None of the three is a single-donor committee the way the Victory Fund is; each had other seven-figure money in the same month — Planned Parenthood Votes also itemised $1,000,000.00 from [[Green Advocacy Project]] on 2026-09-28, on the same document. ## Open questions - Where the Victory Fund's $31.4 million goes, and whether it appears as independent-expenditure notices before election day. - Whether a fifth committee reports Bloomberg money on the pre-general reports still to come. - Whether any of the four committees coordinates buys with the others; nothing on these documents indicates that they do. ## See Also - [[Michael Bloomberg]] · [[Everytown for Gun Safety Victory Fund]] - [[Green Advocacy Project]] · [[Human Rights Campaign]] - [[Hybrid PAC]] · [[Super PACs]] · [[Dark Money]] · [[Independent Expenditure]] - [[Donor Network Hub]] · [[Deals Hub]] · [[2026 Midterms Hub]]
