# AFP Action 16.2M Senate Map IE October 2026 On **October 7, 2026** at **17:24:33**, **[[AFP Action]]** (FEC committee **C00687103**) filed a Form 24 notice disclosing **$16,178,234.22** across **98 Schedule E lines** — **26 candidate positions** in **10 states**, with **six Senate races bought on both the support side and the oppose side**. It is **54% larger than the committee's $10,490,289.14 notice four days earlier** (see [[AFP Action 10.5M Senate Map IE October 2026]]), and it is now the largest [[Koch Network]] independent expenditure in this vault. It clears Deals **§7.4a** on the notice sum; its largest single line is far below the $10M floor. > [!warning] This is a first read > Derived from file 2017989 on its e-file receipt date. The notice total is closed, but this committee's > cycle and per-race totals are **not** derived here. AFP Action's Q3 report will restate > these 98 lines; they must not be counted twice. ## Terms | Item | Detail | |---|---| | Spender | **AFP Action**, FEC committee **C00687103**, filing as *Americans for Prosperity Action, Inc. Colorado, Montana, Michigan and Arizona House lines are **split to the cent between the support and oppose side of the same district** (Colorado: Killin $23,958.96 oppose against Crank $23,958.95 support; Montana: Flint $21,034.54 support against Forstag $21,034.54 oppose; Michigan: Lawrence $8,551.17 oppose against Barrett $8,551.16 support) — the invoice-splitting signature this task has recorded on four prior committees. ### Payees | Payee | Amount | Share | Purpose | |---|---|---|---| | **[[In Pursuit Of]]** | **$14,991,809.00** | **92.7%** | Media placement | | United States Postal Service | $548,970.74 | 3.4% | Mailer postage | | Campaign Headquarters | $350,000.00 | 2.2% | Canvassing | | People Who Think | $161,217.45 | 1.0% | Mailer production | | Ted Prill dba KAP Print LLC | $53,573.09 | 0.3% | Mailer production | | Targeted Victory LLC | $41,090.00 | 0.3% | Media production | | FCG Mail LLC | $20,575.72 | 0.1% | Mailer production | | FP1 Strategies LLC | $10,748.22 | 0.1% | Media production | | Americans for Prosperity | $250.00 | — | Canvassing | ## Why it matters **Kansas is on the notice and was not in the announcement.** On **October 2, 2026** AFP Action announced a **"$22.38 million ad campaign"** naming exactly five Senate races — Michigan, Ohio, Iowa, New Hampshire and Alaska — and ten candidates. **[[KS-Sen-2026]] appears nowhere in that release**, yet this notice carries **$2,032,590.00** in Kansas, split to the cent between supporting [[Roger Marshall]] and opposing [[Adam Hamilton]]. A $2M entry into a sixth Senate race, five days after a press release that omitted it, is a change of plan the committee did not announce. Arizona, Colorado, Montana and North Carolina House lines are likewise outside the announced map. **It confirms the balanced book as structural, not situational.** Of six Senate races, AFP Action filed both a support and an oppose line in **all six** — the same pattern as its October 3 notice, where it did so in all five. At 33.6/66.4 the split tilts harder negative than the 44.7/55.3 of four days earlier, but the two-sided shape holds. No other committee in this vault buys both halves of a race as a matter of course. **It is still not buying broadcast.** 92.7% through [[In Pursuit Of]] on a "media placement" code, with the **United States Postal Service** as the second-largest payee, **$350,000 of canvassing** and four print and mail houses behind it. Across its two October notices AFP Action has now put **$24,461,991.00** through [[In Pursuit Of]] — the largest single-vendor concentration recorded in this vault. **Read beside [[AB PAC 22.8M Billboard IE October 2026]].** The two largest notices in the same tranche are a $22.76M billboard buy and a $16.18M mail-and-canvass buy. **Neither appears in broadcast ad-tracking data.** On e-file receipt date 2026-10-07, **$38.9M — 62.4% of the day's live independent-expenditure dollars — moved through media that the published trackers do not measure.** > [!note] Open questions > - **Who funds it.** No Form 3X for C00687103 has been read. The relationship between its receipts and > [[Stand Together]] / [[Americans for Prosperity]] transfers remains unestablished. > - **[[In Pursuit Of]]** — $24.46M across two notices, still one committee, still no established > ownership. Whether it is AFP-affiliated or arm's-length is unresolved. > - **Campaign Headquarters** ($350,000, canvassing) is a first appearance and has no vault page. > - **Which DBA.** CVA Action and LIBRE Action file under this committee ID; Form 24 does not say which > lines belong to which brand. > - **The announced $22.38M against the filed total.** $10.49M (Oct 3) + $16.18M (Oct 7) = **$26.67M** > already filed against a $22.38M announcement, and the announcement's own map excludes Kansas. The > two figures are measuring different things and neither is a cycle total (Rule 4c). ## See Also - [[AFP Action]] · [[Americans for Prosperity]] · [[Stand Together]] · [[Koch Network]] · [[Charles Koch]] · [[In Pursuit Of]] - [[AFP Action 10.5M Senate Map IE October 2026]] · [[AB PAC 22.8M Billboard IE October 2026]] - [[MI-Sen-2026]] · [[OH-Sen-2026-Special]] · [[NH-Sen-2026]] · [[IA-Sen-2026]] · [[AK-Sen-2026]] · [[KS-Sen-2026]] - [[Independent Expenditure]] · [[Super PACs]] · [[Dark Money]] - [[Deals Hub]]
