**every dollar in support and not one in opposition**, and **99.87% of it spent on billboards**.
It is the **largest single Form 24 notice recorded on this site**, and it

$10M.

> The figure is derived from file 2018051 alone, on the e-file receipt date.
> A same-day tranche figure is a **first read**; the notice total itself

## Why it matters
**It is a billboard campaign, and billboards are invisible to the ad trackers.** Virtually every published
figure for outside spending in this cycle comes from broadcast and digital ad-tracking firms. A
**$22.76M out-of-home buy** placed through [[AdQuick]] and [[Lamar Companies]] appears in none of their
data. The vault has now recorded two large programmes in one week that are structurally invisible for the
same reason in different media: this one, and [[AFP Action]]'s direct-mail and canvassing operation
(see [[AFP Action 16.2M Senate Map IE October 2026]] and
[[AFP Action 10.5M Senate Map IE October 2026]]). **The medium is the disclosure strategy.**
**100.00% positive is the rarest book in the vault.** [[SLF 22.5M Senate IE October 2026]] was 100%
negative; [[Congressional Leadership Fund]]'s October notice was 100% negative across 27 districts;
[[AFP Action]] runs a deliberately balanced 1:2 split. An all-support notice of this size has no
counterpart in the record — and it is unexpected from **American Bridge specifically**, an organisation
built in 2010 as an opposition-research shop. The committee that exists to run negative research spent
$22.76M saying nothing negative about anyone.
**The map is far wider than the Senate battlegrounds.** 29 states and 65 House districts, including
positions in Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi, Oregon and Washington. This matches the strategy *Inside
Political Money* reported on **September 25, 2026**: a "record $50 million paid media program" with an
explicit aim of forcing Republicans to spend defensively in safe seats, in the words of AB president
Pat Dennis — "No seat is safe when you're raising costs, gutting health care."
**The escalation is the story.** By **August 31, 2026** AB PAC had made **$8.5 million** of independent
expenditures for the entire cycle and reported **$3 million cash on hand**. Five weeks later it put
**$22,762,650.41** on the wire in one notice — **2.7× its entire cycle-to-date IE total, in a single day.**
> [!note] Open questions
> - **Where the money came from.** The $3M cash-on-hand figure is as of August 31; September receipts and
> the Q3 report (due 2026-10-15) are unread. *Inside Political Money* attributes roughly $31M of AB
> PAC's cycle fundraising to four sources — the AB Foundation ($16.6M), Deborah Simon ($5M), Democracy
> PAC ($4M) and Democracy Matters ($5.5M) — none of which is verified here against a filing.
> - **Which Texas money this is.** $3.71M supporting [[James Talarico]] arrives into the most expensive
> Senate race of the cycle, where [[Texas PAC]] alone has put **$133.6M** on the other side. Whether
> AB PAC coordinates its Texas map with other Democratic committees is not disclosed on Form 24.
> - **[[AdQuick]] and [[Lamar Companies]].** First appearance of either on this site. Whether AB PAC
> placed through AdQuick as a marketplace reselling Lamar inventory, or ran two independent buys, is
> not determinable from the Schedule E lines.
> - **Target Platform** ($2,188,997.50) has no established identity.
> - **Cycle-to-date.** Not derived here. It must be summed from this committee's own filings, and
> the Q3 report will restate these same 253 lines — they must not be counted twice.
